Are Democrats Scared of Donald Trump? Yes, According to Jim Jordan

Jim Jordan on democrats' feelings towards Trump: “They’re scared of him. They know he works [for] the American people, and not the Washington Swamp.

For four years, democrats have been absolutely obsessed with President Donald Trump.

They tried to impeach him from the start of his term, all the way through the end of it.

You would think by now, since sleepy Joe Biden is their president, they would move on from President Trump.

You would be wrong.

As we’ve said before here at We Love Trump, Trump Derangement Syndrome is the only thing more contagious than the coronavirus for leftists.

Democrats are now moving forward with the impeachment process of President Trump, three weeks removed from his presidency.

They just can’t let it go..

According to Rep. Jim Jordan, as well as several other conservatives, democrats can’t let it go because they are scared of Donald Trump.

Democrats are still falsely claiming that President Trump incited the violence at the Capital on January 6th.

Rep. Jim Jordan says this is only because they are scared of the former president.

Breitbart has more on Jordan's comments via an op-ed he wrote for Fox News:

Instead, as anyone who has actually listened to Trump’s speech on January 6 knows, the former president invited those who came to hear him to “peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

Jordan pointed out Democrats, aided by their allies in the media, have ignored all of these facts, as they also ignore the Constitution.

In the House, there was no due process for Trump, “there was no process whatsoever,” Jordan emphasized, and, now, the Senate is poised to conduct an unconstitutional “impeachment trial” of a man no longer president.

The congressman noted the extremes to which Democrats’ fear of Trump has led them in their charade.

“Last week, Democrats threatened President Trump that if he declined to testify during the Democrats’ impeachment charade, they would use it as proof of his guilt,” he wrote. “That may be how trials work in socialist countries. But that’s not how it works in America.”

“Democrats are going to these lengths because they are obsessed with canceling President Trump,” Jordan explained. “They’re scared of him. They know he works [for] the American people, and not the Washington Swamp. Unlike most politicians, President Trump did what he said he’d do. Hopefully, one day, he’ll get to do it again.”

Jim Jordan Speaks With Fox Business

Glenn Jacobs, the libertarian mayor of Knox County TN, seems to agree with Jordan.

Mayor Jacobs shared this article claiming as much from the New York Post:

Donald Trump is washed up. A has-been. Everyone hates him, and he has no future. That’s what the press is constantly telling us.

So why are the Democrats still afraid of him?

According to the press narrative, Trump suffered a crushing electoral defeat. Democrats are firmly in charge of the White House and Congress. America is returning to normalcy, with the reassuring (if sometimes a bit confused) face of President Biden beaming over all of us like a benevolent grandpa. We’re ready to move on.

That’s the story, but the Democrats’ actions give it the lie.

In a nation returning to “normalcy,” does Congress cower behind armed troops and 12-foot fences? Does a party securely in control try to enlist tech firms and media to snuff out voices of opposition?

In a normal America, does a defeated presidential incumbent pose such a threat to the party in power that he must be impeached after leaving office, to ensure he doesn’t win back the White House in four years?

That’s where we are. The Democrats aren’t acting like a party secure in its position; they’re acting nervous and insecure and lashing out at any perceived threat.

The Republicans didn’t impeach LBJ or Jimmy Carter after they left office — although in LBJ’s case, at least, there were probably grounds. The Democrats didn’t try to make sure George H.W. Bush was ineligible for future office after he was beaten by Bill Clinton, even though Clinton failed to win a majority of the vote.

Yet Democrats have made quite plain that the purpose of this after-hours impeachment of a former president is to ensure Trump doesn’t rise from the political grave and run again in four years.
