I have a lot of friends who think there are dark forces dropping hints in the media industry…..

And you want to know something?

The more I watch these films, or read, the more I think they’re right, I mean one or two times MAY be a coincidence, but more than that? Something must be up.

Personally my favorite one (and the one I find the most creepy) is Contagion, which came out in 2011. That film pretty much accurately describes the pandemic to a T.

Here is a list of TV shows, books, and movies which hit it on the nose and predicted this pandemic.

Take a look through these and let us know what you think in the comments section, are all of these just coincidences, or something more?

The Independent had more on the Tom Hanks Quarantine & The Simpsons connection:

Fans are speculating that The Simpsons “predicted” in 2007 that Tom Hanks would need to self-isolate amid the news that the actor and his wife Rita Wilson have tested positive for coronavirus.

On Wednesday, Hanks announced on social media that he and Wilson had contracted the virus in Australia and would be “tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires”.

Following Hanks' post, some viewers of The Simpsons Movie hypothesised that the actor’s isolation was foretold by his cameo in the film, when he spoke of being left alone.

In The Simpsons Movie, released in 2007, an animated version of Hanks advertises a “New Grand Canyon” and claims the “US government has lost its credibility so its borrowing some of mine,” before stating: “This is Tom Hanks saying if you see me in person, please, leave me be.”

The Logical Indian had this to say, although they thought it was just a coincidence:

According to Netizens, a TV show on Netflix, predicted the coronavirus pandemic back in 2018.

Tweets claim that the 53rd minute of the 10th episode of Korean series 'My Secret Terrius', which was released in 2018, mentions the deadly illness, which in recent times is being called the COVID-19 outbreak.

One of our community members also asked us to verify the claim. In the drama My Secret Terrius that was released in 2018 sungjoo was among the cast) they talked in details about the corona

In one of the scenes from the show, a doctor can be heard saying: "The coronavirus attacks the respiratory system," hinting that some people were trying to use the muted virus as a biological weapon.

"What's more serious is that the coronavirus has an incubation period of two to 14 days." "This virus was manipulated to attack the lungs directly within just five minutes of being exposed,"

She further says. On being asked if there's a cure, she responds: "There's no cure or vaccine available at the moment." "
