ESPN has really changed over the years.
When I was younger, I would wake up extra earlier to hear the stat lines of my favorite athletes but nowadays all the ESPN analysts just argue about whether or not an athlete’s tweet is politically correct or not.
Well, just when things couldn’t get worse over at ESPN they just did.
ESPN analyst Dominique Foxworth when talking about Bill’s starting QB Josh Allen said he gets happy when Josh Allen makes mistakes and was on record saying the reason he’s not a big fan of Allen is “because the people who are telling me that Josh is the second coming and Josh is better than everybody are people with American flags”.
Bills players didn’t take Foxworth’s comments lightly and defended Allen right away.
Bills players are firing back at an ESPN analyst who said he roots for quarterback Josh Allen to fail because Allen’s fans have the American flag in their profile pic. ESPN declines comment on issue: https://t.co/sZvwieMNbQ

Fox News covered Foxworth’s hateful comments:
The Buffalo Bills are one of the best teams in the NFL and are not taking any type of criticism lightly.
Bills players heard the Josh Allen bashing from ESPN personality Dominque Foxworth, a former NFL cornerback and chief operating officer of the National Basketball Players Association, on a podcast earlier this week.
“I am fully aware that I have biases. And my biases are not based on Josh Allen. It’s based on the people that are defending Josh Allen. I would be 100% lying if I said that when Josh does something dumb, a little part of me doesn’t get happy. And it’s not because I don’t want Josh to succeed,” Foxworth said on Bomani Jones’ podcast, via Outkick.
“It’s because the people who are telling me that Josh is the second coming and Josh is better than everybody are people with American flags and dogs and skulls and crossbones. … If you go just take a dip into their tweet history, it’s some really concerning retweets and likes. … It’s not about Josh.”
ay @Foxworth24 are you talking about the fans that just raise over 700k for a hospital during a pandemic? Ppl do/say the corniest things to try n get ahead

ESPN analyst says he roots for Bills quarterback Josh Allen to fail because Allen’s supporters are the kind of guys who have American flags on their profile pics. How dare they?! https://t.co/dMwskkMjRm

The Washington Examiner commented on the story too:
Former NFL player and ESPN host Dominique Foxworth took issue with supporters of NFL quarterback Josh Allen because they are “people with American flags and dogs and skull and crossbones.”
“I am fully aware that I have biases, and my biases are not based on Josh Allen,” Foxworth said during a conversation with ESPN’s Bomani Jones before criticizing those who support Allen.
“It’s based on the people that are defending Josh Allen,” Foxworth continued. “I would be 100% lying if I said that when Josh does something dumb, a little part of me doesn’t get happy … because the people who are telling me that Josh is the Second Coming and Josh is better than everybody are people with American flags and dogs and skull and crossbones.”
I think ESPN should make sure analyst don’t spill out anti-America rhetoric.
Sport talk shows have sadly turned into CNN.
