Hillary Calls For Electoral College to be Abolished After Casting Her NY Electoral Vote for Biden

"I believe we should abolish the Electoral College and select our president by the winner of the popular vote, same as every other office."

Hillary Clinton just cast her NY electoral vote for Joe Biden.

That’s no surprise of course.

Right after doing so, she jumped on Twitter and once again, called for it to be abolished.

Clinton tweeted:

“I believe we should abolish the Electoral College and select our president by the winner of the popular vote, same as every other office.”

She followed that up with this:

“But while it still exists, I was proud to cast my vote in New York for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”

I’ll bet you are proud Hillary, if not also jeoulous that you’re still not president.

Here's more from our friends at Fox News:

Hillary Clinton is once again calling for the scrapping of the Electoral College to pick presidents.

The 2016 Democratic presidential nominee and former secretary of state, senator and first lady, made her latest plea after casting an electoral vote for President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Monday as electors in all 50 states and the District of Columbia met to formalize Biden’s victory in last month’s election over President Trump.

"I believe we should abolish the Electoral College and select our president by the winner of the popular vote, same as every other office,” Clinton tweeted. “But while it still exists, I was proud to cast my vote in New York for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.”

Clinton was joined by her husband, former President Bill Clinton, and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, as part of the Empire State’s 29 electors to cast a vote for Biden.

Daily Mail has more:

The former secretary of state made her latest plea after casting her electoral vote with Bill Clinton to confirm President-elect Biden's defeat of Trump on Monday in New York's capital in Albany.

A total of 538 electors in all 50 states and the District of Colombia met to formalise the Democrat's victory in last month's election, 302 of them for Biden and 232 for Trump.

Biden's Electoral College win became official just before 5.30pm Monday as California's votes pushed him over the 270 vote threshold.

Clinton has called for the Electoral College to be abolished in the past, citing it as the reason she lost the 2016 Presidential election. She won the popular vote by three million votes but lost the Electoral College.

'I think it needs to be eliminated,' she said during a 2017 CNN interview. 'I'd like to see us move beyond it, yes.'

President Trump took to Twitter that day and said: 'Crooked Hillary Clinton blames everybody (and every thing) but herself for her election loss. She lost the debates and lost her direction!'

Naturally, democrats and the media are making this into a Hollywood movie-esque comeback story.

Little do they know, this "comeback story" will be derailed in the final few minutes of the movie.

Poor Hillary just can't let go of her hatred for President Donald Trump.

God knows she'd have no problem accepting if she had one the electoral vote while losing the popular vote back in 2016.

Unfortunately for her, this is the real world, not a fantasy one.

With that said, she's sure to be sorely disappointed when President Trump is back in office for another four years.
