More California Mayors Caught Breaking Their Own Lockdown Rules

More and more stories emerge of hypocritical politicians not following the rules they set for their constituents.

Rules for thee but not for me!

That phrase applies well for these literal tyrants micromanaging the lives of thousands, or even millions, of American citizens.

In recent days, mayors in San Francisco and San Jose have come under fire for bathing in their hypocrisy.

Literally the night after Governor Newsom’s infamous dinner that enraged Californians.

And at the same restaurant!

And London Breed wasn’t the only mayor in the Bay Area who got caught.

Here’s Mayor Liccardo’s apology:

At this point, you have to be utterly brainwashed to take these people seriously.

They’re just laughing behind our backs.

And they don’t seem to be afraid of COVID-19 like they always preach to the masses on TV.

These people get the freedom to decide how to protect themselves, but not us.

Forget that.

It’s not hard to figure out what’s going on, but don’t expect the leftist media to report the truth.

These tyrants are purposely trying to destroy small businesses and eliminate the middle class forever.

We can’t allow that to happen.

From the New York Post on London Breed:

San Francisco Mayor London Breed reportedly dined at a pricey Napa Valley restaurant just three days before banning indoor dining in her own city.

Breed and seven other guests celebrated the 60th birthday of socialite Gorretti Lo Lui at The French Laundry on Nov. 7, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.

The mayor’s dinner outing came a day after California Gov. Gavin Newsom attended a fancy party at the same restaurant with 11 other guests — landing him in hot water.

At the time, new state guidelines discouraged social gatherings of more than three households.

Breed’s spokesman Jeff Cretan confirmed the mayor’s French Laundry dinner with the Chronicle, telling the newspaper it was a “small family birthday dinner.”

It’s not clear how many households were included at the birthday party.

“I cannot emphasize enough how important it is that everyone act responsibly to reduce the spread of the virus,” Breed said in a statement the day she banned indoor dining in San Francisco.

The Blaze chimed in on Sam Liccardo’s hypocrisy:

On Nov. 25, the day before Thanksgiving, and likely well after most had already made plans for the holiday, Liccardo took to Twitter to tell residents that gathering for the holiday would be dangerous.

“Cases are spiking, in part because we’re letting our guard (and masks) down with family & friends. Let’s cancel the big gatherings this year and focus on keeping each other safe,” he wrote.

But then on Monday, KNTV-TV investigators reported that Liccardo had “celebrated with his elderly parents at their Saratoga home with an unknown number of other guests.”

The mayor’s staff reportedly confirmed the dinner took place, but did not disclose to the local news outlet how many individuals attended or how many separate households were present.

In response to the news story, the mayor’s chief of staff said, “This is a private event — not public. We are going to redraw the line between what is personal and what is public because that line has become blurred.”

No matter the size of the gathering or the number of household’s present, the celebration was a departure from the mayor’s reported plans for the holiday.

When pressed by KNTV-TV about the mayor’s Thanksgiving plans earlier in the week, his press team told reporters he would be celebrating the holiday by “staying home” with his immediate family. But the day after Thanksgiving, the mayor’s office said that a spokesperson “misspoke” and clarified that Liccardo spent the holiday at his parents’ home with family.

Both of these mayors, and the other hypocrites who’ve become wannabe dictators this year, should be impeached for the lives they’ve ruined.
