Ben Carson Credits President Trump With Saving His Life

This is pretty amazing.

I haven’t seen ANYTHING about this in the MSM, but thankfully you have WeLoveTrump to bring you the real news!

Did you know Dr. Ben Carson had COVID recently?

Did you know he was “desperately ill”?

I didn’t.

Media did not report.

Well, it’s true and not only that but Dr. Carson credits President Trump for literally saving his life.

Check this out:

From The Blaze:

Dr. Ben Carson, the secretary of Housing and Urban Development, credited President Donald Trump for his recovery from coronavirus after the president approved Carson to receive experimental treatment.

As TheBlaze reported, Carson contracted COVID-19 about two weeks ago. When news of Carson’s infection broke, his chief of staff told media that Carson was “already beginning to feel better.” But Carson has now revealed that he was “desperately ill” and required experimental treatment to recover from the virus.

What did Carson say?

Carson, a world-renowned neurosurgeon, wrote on Facebook Friday that he is “convinced” that Trump’s actions saved his life after he became “extremely sick.”

“I was extremely sick and initially took Oleander 4X with dramatic improvement. However, I have several co-morbidities and after a brief period when I only experienced minor discomfort, the symptoms accelerated and I became desperately ill,” Carson explained.

“President Trump was following my condition and cleared me for the monoclonal antibody therapy that he had previously received, which I am convinced saved my life,” he wrote.

And from NPR:

Ben Carson, secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, took to Facebook on Friday to report he has been “extremely sick” with the coronavirus. But Carson, one of several individuals in the Trump administration who recently contracted the virus, said the worst is behind him.

Carson said his initial symptoms were light, but then he became “desperately ill,” and noted that he has “several co-morbidities” that played a role.

“President Trump was following my condition and cleared me for the monoclonal antibody therapy that he had previously received, which I am convinced saved my life,” Carson wrote. He said he is now “out of the woods.”

In October, Trump credited his recovery to antibody treatments from Regeneron Pharmaceuticals.

Last week, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Eli Lilly’s monoclonal antibody therapy Bamlanivimab for emergency use authorization. Regeneron is still awaiting emergency use authorization.

In his post, Carson said he hoped that “we can stop playing politics with medicine.” He asked for patience with the process of bringing anti-coronavirus drugs to the market.

“There are a number of promising treatments that need to be tested, approved, and distributed (sooner rather than later) so that the economy can be re-opened and we can all return to a semblance of normalcy,” Carson wrote.

I’ve noticed recently that The Hill has turned far-left.

Look at this slanted report they put out:

Ben Carson says he used unproven COVID-19 treatment recommended by MyPillow CEO

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson said in a new interview that he took oleander extract, an unapproved herbal supplement that has been promoted by the CEO of MyPillow, after contracting COVID-19.

The Washington Post reports Carson, a former neurosurgeon, said he took the extract after it was recommended by Mike Lindell. Lindell, who also served as President Trump’s Minnesota campaign chairman, has a financial stake in the company that makes the extract, the Post notes.

Carson told the newspaper that his symptoms disappeared within hours after taking the supplement, also called oleandrin.

“Anybody who has ever gotten COVID and taken it, they are fine in five hours, and the next day are running around playing floor hockey in the hallway,” Lindell has said, despite the lack of scientific evidence to suggests oleander extract is useful in treating COVID-19.

In an August interview with ABC News, Carson appeared more reluctant to give the plant extract his full seal of approval.

“It’s not time for it yet,” said Carson, adding that it should go through human trials. “What hopefully will happen is that clinical trials will occur. This should go the same route as other things do. We shouldn’t, you know, skip the process.”

He also said the Food and Drug Administration was studying the extract and referenced Lindell’s reported push for the extract’s use during meetings with Trump.

“You know, what happened with Mike Lindell, who is a fantastic salesperson, but not a scientist, perhaps distorts the process,” Carson said at the time.

However, Matthew Heinz, a physician caring for COVID-19 patients, told ABC News in August that oleander extract can be dangerous.
