Fox News has once again shown its true colors.

Fox was airing White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany giving a briefing about the current election fraud that has been happening all across America when Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto decided to cut her off.

Cavuto was quoted saying “Whoa, whoa, whoa. She’s charging the other side as welcoming fraud and welcoming illegal voting. I can’t in good countenance continue to show you this.”

The Guardian reported Fox News censoring McEnany and shared these details:

Fox News has cut away from a briefing held by the White House press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany, during which she repeated Donald Trump’s refusal to accept defeat in the presidential election and doubled down on allegations of voter fraud, for which there is scant if any evidence.

Speaking to media on Monday night in her “personal capacity” during what she said was a campaign event at the Republican National Committee headquarters, McEnany said Republicans want “every legal vote to be counted, and every illegal vote to be discarded”, prompting the conservative Fox News network to stop broadcasting the briefing.

From the studio, host Neil Cavuto said: “Whoa, whoa, whoa – I just think we have to be very clear. She’s charging the other side as welcoming fraud and welcoming illegal voting. Unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue to show you this.”

The Daily Mail covered the story too:

Fox News’ host Cavuto cut away from Kayleigh McEnany’s press conference Monday afternoon saying he ‘can’t in good countenance continue showing this’ as she made a series of baseless claims that Democrats ‘welcome fraud and illegal voting’.

Meanwhile, hours earlier anchor Sandra Smith was caught frowning and rolling her eyes and asking ‘what is happening’ as a Trump supporter repeated Trump’s accusations of widespread election fraud.

This comes as Rupert Murdoch’s media empire appears to be seeking to distance itself from Trump, with Fox and several of his other conservative outlets switching their messaging in the days after the election much to Trump’s ire.
