Mexico’s President Said It’s Too Early To Congratulate Any Of The U.S. Presidential Candidates

2020 has been such a wild ride.

Who would’ve thought that Mexico’s President would have shown more loyalty towards President Trump than most Republicans.

This week a lot of RINOS have exposed themselves including Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, George Bush, and many other Republicans have come out and congratulated Joe Biden on his so-called win.

President Lopez Obrador of Mexico took a different route and said “In regards to the elections in the United States, we will wait for the legal issues to be resolved,”.

The Guardian covered the story and chipped in with these details:

Mexico’s president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, said on Saturday he would not congratulate a winner of the US presidential election until legal challenges are concluded, in an apparent bid to avoid friction with Washington during the transition.

Democrat Joe Biden won the election on Saturday after a victory in the battleground state of Pennsylvania put him over the threshold of 270 electoral college votes.

“With regard to the US election, we are going to wait until all the legal matters have been resolved,” López Obrador, commonly known as Amlo, said at a news conference.

“I can’t congratulate one candidate or the other. I want to wait until the electoral process is over.”

Breitbart News covered the story too:

Mexico’s President said it is too early to congratulate any of the U.S. presidential candidates since the elections still have several pending legal issues. In an effort to be respectful to the process, he will wait until all legal matters are resolved before congratulating the winner.

During a news conference on Saturday night, Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said the establishment rushing to steal an election is exactly what happened to him during his failed 2006 presidential election.

“In regards to the elections in the United States, we will wait for the legal issues to be resolved,” Lopez Obrador said. “We don’t want to be imprudent, we don’t want to act lightly and we want to be respectful … of foreign law.”

According to AMLO, during his 2006 presidential bid, the establishment rushed to declare former President Felipe Calderon the winner and the president of Spain at the time was quick to congratulate him before votes had been counted.
“That was an imprudence and we do not want to do that.”
