Vietnamese Baptist Church Burned Down by BLM Protesters in Philadelphia

"Peaceful protesters" strike again!

A Vietnamese Baptist Church was burned down last night in Philadelphia.

Looting and rioting have taken over Philadelphia as BLM activists protest against the shooting of Walter Wallace Jr.

The media and their allies in the Democrat party continue to tell us that these are "mostly peaceful protests."

But the images speak for themselves.

And now…

It has been revealed that a Vietnamese Baptist Church was specifically targeted by rioters during the second night of protests.

The BLM activists even poured chemicals on the church to make sure that it burned.

Disgusting!

More details below:

Democrats bashed President Trump for visiting a church during the George Floyd riots this summer.

Trump sought to bring the country together.

Yet they accused him of using a church for a "photo opp."

Will those same people now condemn BLM rioters for BURNING down a church?!

For some reason...

We doubt it.

The Sun reports:

Wallace, a 27-year-old black man, was shot dead by cops after he refused to drop a knife in the street.

He was fatally shot by an officer in the middle of a street on Monday. sparking public outrage.

As protests erupted on Tuesday night, the Vietnamese Baptist Church was lit on fire.

Video shows the church's inside torched, as pieces of the walls hung in shambles.

Insulation hung from the ceiling, as floor boards were covered in debris.

“I have no idea why they attacked our church,” Pastor Philip Pham told Baptist Press.

“They burned it from the roof. They threw flammable chemicals on the roof and [flames] burned through the roof” and the rest of the building.

He told Baptist Today the church is at a "total loss.”

Pham shared a video of the moment he walked up to the church, with firetrucks lined on the

"Someone put the fire on the roof of the church," Pham said to someone asking if it was torched in a riot.

Capital Vietnamese Christian Fellowship director Bao Pham shared a statement on Wednesday, saying: "We praise God that no one was hurt."

"However, a big section of the roof was burned down," Pham wrote.

Vietnamese Baptist Church did not immediately respond to The Sun fo comment.

SBC Executive Committee President and CEO Ronnie Floyd told Baptist Press he was "deeply saddened" to hear of the fire.

"We must pray that our churches who are caught in the middle of senseless violence can be a light for the Gospel in their cities," Floyd told Baptist Press.

Some videos shared on Wednesday night from Washington DC appeared to show demonstrators throwing fireworks at police.

By refusing to condemn the violence, Joe Biden and Democrats are pouring fuel on the fire!

President Trump, on the other hand, has been extremely clear that he supports law and order!

Burning down buildings, especially churches, is despicable.

These acts of violence also do nothing to promote healing!

Breitbart confirms the incident:

The Vietnamese Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was a “total loss” after being burned during Black Lives Matter protests and riots on Tuesday night, according to news reports and video footage released Wednesday.

[...]

However, there was unrest in Washington, DC, where several officers were injured in an attack involving fireworks. There were also other clashes between protesters and police. The protests there were over the death of a man named Karon Hylton, who was killed on a moped during a police chase after he collided with a vehicle last Friday.

The latest demonstrations were sparked by the shooting death Monday of a black man, Walter Wallace, Jr., who brandished a knife in a confrontation with police.

Other religious buildings have been attacked, burned, or vandalized during Black Lives Matter protests — including St. John’s Episcopal Church in Washington, DC, where President Donald Trump famously held up a Bible the following day.

We continue to pray for peace and healing in our land!

This type of behavior is not acceptable in a civil society!
