LeBron James Replaces Donald Trump’s Face With A Clown Emoji During The Debate

Some role model right?

Fresh off winning the 2020 NBA Championship LeBron James needed a little bit more attention to himself.

During the presidential debate, Lebron James posted a story on Instagram of the debate but edited the photo so Trump’s face was replaced with the clown emoji.

He then encouraged his followers to vote on November 3rd.

This isn’t the first time Lebron James has taken a cheap shot against the President.

In 2017 the NBA star called Trump a “bum”.

President Trump has been tough on China, unlike LeBron James who denounced the Hong Kong protests and even said the GM of the Houston Rockets who spoke out against China was “misinformed or not really educated on the situation.”

LeBron James is the real clown.

Fox News covered the story, see what they had to add:

LeBron James may not want to go tit-for-tat with Donald Trump, but he had no problem taking a shot at the president during the debate for Democrat presidential challenger Joe Biden on Thursday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar posted a photo of Trump and Biden debating and put a clown emoji over the president’s face. He implored his followers to vote and plugged his More Than a Vote campaign.

He made clear earlier in the week that he wasn’t going to get into a back-and-forth with the president any time soon.

James, who indirectly referred to Trump as “u bum” in a 2017 tweet when the president disinvited the Golden State Warriors to the White House, told The New York Times on Wednesday he wouldn’t entertain a back-and-forth with him.

Newsweek had these details to contribute:

LeBron James has made his disdain for President Donald Trump abundantly clear during the last four years and used the final presidential debate to fire another shot at the Republican incumbent.

“Please vote!” the four-time NBA champion wrote in an Instagram story he shared as Trump and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden faced off in a public forum for the final time ahead of the November 3 election.

The story included a split screen picture of the two candidates, with a clown face superimposed on Trump’s head.
