Paulette Dale a registered voter last night was about to ask President Trump a question but before she did she gave the President a surprising compliment.

Glaring with eyes of adornment Paulette Dale said: “you’re so handsome when you smile”.

The hostile NBC town hall that President Trump attended on Thursday had a moment of levity after one of the attendees paid the president a compliment.

Paulette Dale, who was described by moderator Savannah Guthrie as a “registered Republican” who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016 and was “leaning” towards voting for Joe Biden, had prepared to ask the president about his immigration stance, but not before she admired his smile.

“Good evening, Mr. President,” Dale began. “I have to say- you have a great smile.”

“Thank you, thank you,” Trump grinned with a chuckle, which sparked a round of applause from the other attendees.

Paulette Dale – who is a registered Republican – took time to comment on the 74-year-old leader’s appearance before she addressed him with a question about immigration policy.

Before telling him that she is the granddaughter of immigrants who fled Eastern Europe due to religious persecution, Dale grinned as she said: ‘Good evening, Mr. President. I have to say you have a great smile.

The comments prompted multiple ‘thank you’s from Trump who couldn’t contain a toothy smile initially but soon managed to tone it down and eventually reign in his apparent glee.
