There was no shortage of verbal attacks during Tuesday’s debate.
One specific verbal smackdown stands out from the rest though.
After Chris Wallace pointed out Biden’s smaller rallies, President Donald Trump chimed in: “Because nobody will show up.”
Wallace just couldn’t help himself but crack a smile and laugh.
It seems even he knows it’s true.
Fox News has more on Trump's comments on the rally sizes:
President Trump wasted no time before he started talking over Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, and Fox News’ Chris Wallace during Tuesday's presidential debate.
Wallace dived into the topic of the coronavirus, which has killed over 200,000 and infected more than 7 million Americans, pointing to the candidate’s different beliefs on how the virus should be handled.
“You’re different approaches have even affected the way you campaign,” Wallace noted. He pointed to Trump's large outdoor rallies where “crowds packed together with thousands of people” versus Biden’s small socially distanced events.
“Because nobody will show up,” Trump said interrupting Wallace’s question and attacking Biden’s untraditionally small events.
In all fairness to Chris Wallace, it was really funny.
Honestly, you can't blame him for laughing.
It's not just funny.
It's also true.
let's not be too harsh on old Joe though.
The old saying does go: "Two's company, three's a crowd."
