A Lifelong Democrat Sheriff From PA Just Announced He Will Become A Republican

Democrats are starting to open up their eyes and see their party has been sinking for a long time.

Sheriff James Albert a lifelong Democrat from Pennsylvania has left the Democratic Party and has changed his party affiliation to Republican.

He is quoted saying the reason is “I feel I stand for the ideals of the Republican party platform more than the Democrats today.”

He also stated the reason why he switched sides is because of all the violent protests and arson that has taken over Democrat cities.

Declaring that he feels disenfranchised by the Democratic Party, Westmoreland County Sheriff James Albert announced he changed his affiliation to Republican.

“It was a really difficult decision and I’ve thought long and hard about it, but I feel I stand for the ideals of the Republican Party platform more than the Democrats today,” Albert said.

Albert, 70, said he officially changed his party affiliation Monday.

“I’ve been a lifelong Democrat, but a conservative Democrat at that,” he said. “I’m pro-life, a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, a lifetime member of the NRA (National Rifle Association) and, today, I feel my ideals are closer to the Republican Party than Democrats.”

Vice President Mike Pence not too long ago gave sheriff James Albert a visit.

Maybe that helped changed his mind too.

Breitbart stayed busy and covered the reason why Albert left the Democratic Party:

“I’ve been a lifelong Democrat, but a conservative Democrat at that,” he added. “I’m pro-life, a strong supporter of the Second Amendment, a lifetime member of the NRA (National Rifle Association) and, today, I feel my ideals are closer to the Republican Party than Democrats.”

Albert, who was elected sheriff last year, switched over to the Republican Party on Monday.

“I was saddened and enraged by the murder of David Dorn, a 77-year-old African American retired police captain, who was shot by a pawn shop looter during a protest in St. Louis,” the law enforcement official explained. “These outrageous, lawless acts have been met with silence, acquiescence and, in some instances, outright support from the local, state and national leadership of the Democratic Party.”

“As a lifelong public servant and member of law enforcement, I have not left the Democratic Party, the Democratic Party has left me,” he added.

As we get closer to November expect more Democrats to come on over to the Republican party.

The Democratic Party is no longer the same party that President Kennedy represented.
