The RNC continues to dazzle with surprises.
Night 2 of the RNC was about inclusion, diversity, and promoting the American dream for all people!
Black Democrat Vernon Jones took to the stage to address the RNC.
Vernon Jones was attacked by his own party after making the bi-partisan announcement that he would be supporting President Trump's reelection effort.
At the RNC, Jones exposed the hatred and intolerance from the left.
He also encouraged people to begin thinking for themselves to look at the actual accomplishments and policies of President Trump, not just the media caricature of him.
See Jones' POWERFUL comments below:
During his speech, Jones issued a blistering attack on the Democratic party.
Some of his best lines included "We are free people with free minds."
He also said that the left wants Black voters on its "mental plantation."
TheNew York Post confirms:
Democratic Georgia state Rep. Vernon Jones bashed his party and declared his ardent support for President Trump in a speech Monday night at the 2020 Republican National Convention.
Jones, who was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2016, made waves in April with his endorsement of Trump.
During his RNC address, he railed against his party, saying it had become “infected with a pandemic” of intolerance, bigotry, socialism and anti-cop sentiment.
Dems have “a dangerous tolerance for people who attack others, destroy property, and terrorize our communities,” he said.
Jones, who is black, added: “The Democratic Party does not want black people to leave the mental plantation they’ve had us on for decades.”
And when Trump sought the African American vote, Jones said, “Democratic Party leaders went crazy!”
“Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer literally started wearing Kente cloth scarves around the Capitol!,” he quipped.
Jones is right.
President Trump has delivered big time not only for African Americans, but for all minorities and ALL Americans!
Trump is truly fighting to get more minority voters than any Republican president before him!
Jones' voice is so powerful because he is still a registered Democrat... and a Democrat politician in Georgia, at that!
Despite his party affiliation and leadership position, Jones understands the positive things that President Trump has done.
This is why Jones is fighting to re-elect President Trump.
Fox News has more details on Jones' remarks:
Democratic Georgia state Rep. Vernon Jones went on the attack against his own party Monday evening during a speech at the Republican National Convention, accusing Democrats of wanting to keep Black people on a “mental plantation” and voicing his support for President Trump’s reelection.
Appearing on stage at the Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C., Jones acknowledged it was odd to see a Democrat at the RNC before airing his grievances with his party.
“The Democratic Party does not want Black people to leave their mental plantation,” Jones said. “We are free people with free minds.”
Jones went on to accuse Democrats of “pandering” to the Black community, while not advancing causes or legislation that benefit communities of color. He contrasted his complaints with his own party with actions the Trump administration has taken, including signing a bill to restore funding to the nation’s historically Black colleges and universities, building the most “inclusive economy” and “working every day to make our communities safer.”
“On issue after issue he destroyed these negative forces that have afflicted the Black community for decades,” he said.
Jones admitted there are issues between police departments and the Black community, which have come to the forefront of the national discussion following the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, but argued that Democrats want to “defund” the police and are supporting riots.
“The Democratic Party has become infected with the pandemic of intolerance, bigotry, socialism, anti-law enforcement bias and a dangerous tolerance for people who attack others, destroy property and terrorize our own communities,” he said.
As race relations become a reckoning in 2020, Vernon Jones is helping lead the fight to bring more Black voters to Trump's camp.
We won't be surprised if Trump increases his support among minorities this November!
Keep it up, President Trump and RNC!
This is a great start to the week!
