Sad news coming from the White House, President Trump has announced his brother Robert Trump has died at the age of 71.

President Trump recently visited his brother in New York before he passed away, it’s reported that President Trump had a real close relationship with his brother.

Our President needs our prayers and support more than ever.

Fox News had this to say about Robert Trump dying:

Robert Trump, younger brother of President Trump, died Saturday night, the White House confirmed in a statement from the president. He was 71.

“It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight,” the president wrote. “He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”

The president had traveled to New York on Friday to visit his ailing brother. A senior administration official had said the president “has a very good relationship with his brother and his brother is very special to him.”

Robert, who died just 11 days before what would have been his 72nd birthday, had reportedly spent more than a week in the intensive care unit at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City earlier this summer.

Robert Trump is the president’s youngest brother and the youngest of the five Trump siblings: Maryanne Trump Barry, 83, a retired federal judge; Fred Trump Jr., who died in 1981 at the age of 43; Donald, 74, who is in the middle; Elizabeth Trump Grau, 78, a retired bank executive, and then Robert.

Like his president brother, Robert Trump joined the family business and was a top executive at the Trump Organization.

Robert Trump had pulled back from the public view in recent years and described himself as “gainfully retired” living in Millbrook, N.Y.

The youngest Trump sibling used his fortune to patronize a number of local causes and small businesses, local residents told Town and Country Magazine. He was a trustee of Angels of Light, a holiday giving nonprofit, and had donated a significant amount to a horse rescue operation in the area, among other causes.

NBC News reported this about Robert Trump passing away:

President Donald Trump’s younger brother, Robert Trump, died Saturday in a New York hospital, the White House said in a statement.

“It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight,” Trump said in a statement from the White House press office. “He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”

There were conflicting reports about whether he was 71 or 72.

Ivanka Trump tweeted shortly after the announcement of her uncle’s death, saying “You are in our hearts and prayers, always.”

“Uncle Robert, we love you,” she tweeted.

Her brother, Eric Trump, called their uncle an “incredible man — strong, kind loyal to the core.”

“Anyone who encountered him felt his warmth immediately. He will be deeply missed by our entire family,” he said in a tweet.

President Trump visited his brother at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan on Friday, saying afterward that he hoped Robert Trump “was okay.”

“He’s having a tough time,” the president said on Friday.

The hospital visit came ahead of Trump’s scheduled weekend trip to his private golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

“I have a wonderful brother. We’ve had a great relationship for a long time, from day one,” Trump told reporters before departing for New York. “He’s in the hospital right now, and hopefully he’ll be all right.”

The White House has not released details about why Robert Trump had been hospitalized, but Trump said Friday that he was seriously ill.

With all the positive events that have happened recently, this will be a big blow to President Trump. Our President doesn’t just need our condolences he needs our prayer.
