Every week I bring you new stories about the Boaters For Trump and their boat parades for President Trump.
And each week I say "wow, I think this is the biggest one I've seen yet."
Well, the good people in Florida have decided they want to put all of that to rest.
They want the world record for largest boat parade and they were out in full force today in a show of support unlike anything I've ever seen before.
Just take a look at this folks:
Fox News had more details on the record-breaking attempt:
National Co-chair of Women for Trump Pam Bondi spoke to "Fox & Friends Weekend" at a beach in Florida where supporters hope to break a Guinness record for holding the world's largest boat parade Saturday.
"This is a not-so-silent majority, and this is what's going to get the president re-elected," Bondi said. "These are families on every single boat, and they are not scared to be out there supporting President Trump and his great agenda."
The former Florida Attorney General, in her hometown of Clearwater, said they think they have more than 1,800 boats assembled.
Organizers say they need more than 1,180 to break the record, FOX 13 reported.
With the coronavirus restrictions across the nation, pro-Trump supporters have organized similar events. While the Guinness World Record lists the largest boat parade as 1,180 in Malaysia on Sept. 14, 2014, organizers of a "Trumptilla" in South Carolina in July said over 3,000 vessels participated in that parade.
Bondi, touting the Sunshine State's support for Trump, said they didn't know what to expect when rallies were put on hold but the energy has been similar to rallies with Trump flags, MAGA hats and patriotic music.
And from local WFLA:
Supporters of President Donald Trump attempted to break the record for largest boat parade Saturday in Pinellas County.
More than 1,181 Trump supporters were expected Saturday morning, the organizing website states. That would break the Guinness World Record for largest boat parade, which was 1,180 in Malaysia on Sept. 13, 2014.
While Guinness still cites the 2014 gathering in Malaysia in its record book, an organizer of a ‘Trumptilla’ in South Carolina in July said over 3,000 vessels participated in their pro-Trump parade.
Saturday’s attempt at the record organized in the Gulf just north of Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach at 10 a.m. The official boat count took place at the Welch Causeway Bridge in Madiera Beach.
No official count has been announced.
It wasn't just Florida.
This from Delaware:
Not to be outdone, the "Boaters for Biden" tried their own boat parade...
