Church Members Hold Service At Walmart After Governor Says No Services!

What do you do when your tyrannical Governor abuses his power and says church services are outlawed in your state, for safety of course?

But for some reason Walmart remains 100% open?

You do what the church has always done, you adapt and you press forward!

And I say also to you, That you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  Matthew 16:18

Do you know why it’s the “Gates of Hell”?

Gates are a defensive tool.

It’s the CHURCH that’s always been on the offensive, growing, expanding, bringing the Kingdom!

We are more than conquerers!

We are not on our heels, cowering in a corner.

HELL is the one with gates up trying to withstand the advancement of the church….but we all know how this story ends.

So nothing could be more appropriate that worshippers in Pennsylvania who decided to take Church to Walmart after their Governor said it was illegal to hold it in their church building.

I promise you, watching these worshippers sing “Our God Is Greater” in the aisles of Walmart will be the best 45 seconds of your day today.

And you know what?

It’s not just Walmarts.

Creative Christians have also invaded the Casinos.

Isn’t it funny how Walmarts and Casinos are somehow “immune” to the virus, but Churches and Schools are not?

Yeah, we’re not buying it either.

And I love this next one so much!

Don’t you just love how the Devil thinks he has won by shutting down churches and all he did was expand worship services into the darkest of places?

Please enjoy this next one, and especially the lyrics are so fitting:  “You take what the Enemy meant for evil, and you turn it for good!”

CBN had this to say about Church members meeting in Walmart:

A video that was taken back in June showing a large group of Christians at a North Versailles, Pennsylvania Walmart, has recently gone viral.

According to LifeNews, the group met at Walmart because they were unable to meet at their local church due to the oppressive rules against Christians that were enacted by Democratic governor Tom Wolf.

CBN also broke the news about a Nevada Church members meeting up in a casino and had this to report:

On July 21, the US Supreme Court led by Chief Justice John Roberts rejected a Nevada church’s request to strike down the Silver State’s restriction limiting attendance at religious services as unconstitutional.

In a 5 to 4 ruling against the request filed by Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley, the high court upheld the limit of 50 people in houses of worship due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The church, which is located east of Reno, argued that the state is treating churches unfairly compared to casinos, restaurants, and entertainment parks.

“The governor allows hundreds to thousands to assemble in pursuit of financial fortunes but only 50 to gather in pursuit of spiritual ones. That is unconstitutional,” the church’s lawyers wrote to the high court.

Chief Justice Roberts supported the liberal majority in opposing the request without comment. But three of the four opposing justices, Neil Gorsuch, Bret Kavanaugh, and Samuel Alito, wrote strong dissents.

“We have a duty to defend the Constitution, and even a public health emergency does not absolve us of that responsibility,” wrote Alito, joined by Clarence Thomas and Kavanaugh. “The Constitution guarantees the free exercise of religion. It says nothing about freedom to play craps or blackjack, to feed tokens into a slot machine, or to engage in any other game of chance.”

Kavanaugh said in his dissent he agrees “courts should be very deferential to the States’ line-drawing in opening businesses and allowing certain activities during the pandemic.”

“But COVID-19 is not a blank check for a state to discriminate against religious people, religious organizations, and religious services,” he wrote. “Nevada is discriminating against religion.”

And Gorsuch wrote “the world we inhabit today, with a pandemic upon us, poses unusual challenges… But there is no world in which the Constitution permits Nevada to favor Caesars Palace over Calvary Chapel.”

The hypocrisy against the Church is at an all-time high if members of other political movements can gather in mass groups without backlash then Christians should too.
