FIRED: Diamond & Silk Let Go from Fox News; President Trump Tweets Support for Duo

It’s official: Fox News has cut ties with pro-Trump duo Diamond and Silk.

The popular YouTubers skyrocketed to fame after Drudge featured their video on Megyn Kelly and the infamous Fox News Republican primary debate.

According to multiple reports, Fox News and its online streaming affiliates “no longer have a relationship” with Diamond and Silk.

Why?

Diamond and Silk have raised questions over the official COVID-19 death count in the United States.

They have also been vocally skeptical of authoritarian stay-at-home orders across the nation.

Instead of allowing the duo to share their opinions on the air, Fox News decided to fire them instead.

The network accused them of violating its coronavirus misinformation policy.

More details on the severed relationship, including President Trump’s supportive shoutout, below:

Fox News fired Diamond and Silk for sharing their opinions on the COVID-19 pandemic as well as the shutdowns across the nation.

Many observers, however, note the network's hypocrisy in hiring and still keeping Donna Brazile on payroll.

Brazile was caught helping Hillary Clinton cheat in the debates and was subsequently fired by CNN.

Deadline has more details on the firing of Diamond and Silk:

Fox News has severed ties with Diamond and Silk, the video bloggers and political commentators who bill themselves as President Donald Trump’s “most loyal supporters.”

According to sources, Fox News and streaming service Fox Nation “no longer have a relationship” with the duo.

Earlier this month, Twitter locked their account over a tweet that criticized coronavirus crisis stay-at home orders and suggested that people should be “out in the environment.”

“The only way we can become immune to the environment; we must be out in the environment.” they wrote. “Quarantining people inside of their houses for extended periods will make people sick!”

Twitter said that the tweet was in violation of its coronavirus misinformation policy.

Diamond and Silk — Lynette Hardaway and Rochelle Richards — removed the tweet, but they have continued to rail against stay-at-home policies.

“We are the United States, not Communist China. This Deep State experiment that we’ve all been suckered into must end or we will no longer have our freedoms or our country,” they wrote on Twitter on Monday. “We were asked to go inside to flatten the curve, not the economy. #OpenUpAmerica #StopMovingTheGoalPost.”

Diamond and Silk also have suggested that the number of coronavirus deaths are inflated and have pushed a conspiracy theory involving Bill Gates and vaccines and another involving 5G technology.

Diamond and Silk have stumped for President Trump at many campaign rallies.

Meanwhile, alternative online news sites are voicing their support for the pro-Trump duo.

It is unclear what the next move for the duo will look like.

Fortunately, they still have a massive online following and audience who will likely follow them wherever they go!

According to New York Daily News, President Trump is pushing for Fox News to reverse its decision and rehire Diamond and Silk:

Trump wants Diamond & Silk back on his favorite network ASAP.

The president took to Twitter on Tuesday to push Fox News to rescind its dumping the controversial black conservative duo for spreading lies about coronavirus.

“But I love Diamond & Silk," Trump wrote in a tweet.

The right-wing YouTube celebrity tag team are sisters from Fayetteville, N.C., whose real names are Ineitha Lynnette Hardaway and Herneitha Rochelle Richardson.

Once liberal Democrats who railed against police brutality, they catapulted to national notoriety by flip-flopping to support Trump in his 2016 campaign.

After Trump’s victory, they became prominent defenders of the president despite being shunned by mainstream black leaders.
