Trump will be spending the holiday somewhere else!
The President announced that he will be skipping the annual Congressional St. Patrick’s Day lunch on Capitol Hill, which is hosted by none other than Nancy Pelosi herself.
The White House released an official statement explaining the decision.
Trump declared that Pelosi has decided to “tear this nation apart” and that he doesn’t want to participate in an event that will only drive discord and disunity.
Good on you, Mr. President!
