Republican Flips KY House Seat Held By Democrats for 33 Years

Every time there’s a special election, the media like to cover to it as a “referendum on President Trump.”

But every time a Republican wins the special election, the media coverage suddenly seems to disappear.

Well…

In case you missed it, there is BIG news coming out of 99th district in Kentucky.

A Republican just flipped a Kentucky House seat that has been held by Democrats for 33 years!

The story is so big that President Trump celebrated on Twitter!

Of course, many in the media will try to diminish the big news.

Why?

"Because Kentucky is a Republican state," they'll claim.

What is particularly notable, however, is that registered Democrats outnumber Republicans by at least 2,500 in District 99.

The Courier Journal has more details on Republican Richard White's big Kentucky win:

White's victory was significant because the seat had held for more than 30 years by Rocky Adkins, who now serves as senior adviser to Gov. Andy Beshear. White led Redwine by about 1,000 votes.

Trump’s tweet was in response to GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel’s announcement of the victory Tuesday night.

“It’s a district Democrats held for 33 YEARS, where Democrats outnumber Republicans by double digits, and one the Democrat governor carried in 2019,” McDaniel said. “But tonight, Republicans flipped the seat!”

House District 99 has 15,869 registered Democrats and 13,152 Republicans, according to the State Board of Elections' voter registration report.

Rush Limbaugh covered the special election on his radio program:

As the Democratic primary continues, every day Americans are rejecting the socialist agenda championed by Bernie Sanders.

Republicans winning House District 99 for the first time in 33 years is a major development.

Numerous polls have recently been released showing that a Bernie Sanders ticket would have a negative "down-ballot" affect in races all across the country.

WKYT also confirmed Republican Richard White's victory with 100% of precincts reporting:

Republican Richard White won the open seat for House District 99. Rocky Adkins formerly held it.

Adkins, a Democrat, held the district since the 1980s. He is now serving as senior advisor to Governor Andy Beshear, D-Kentucky.

House District 99 represents voters in Rowan, Elliott, and Lewis counties.

Republican Richard White defeated Democrat Bill Redwine in the special election.

The Trump Train continues to gain steam!
