CLEANING HOUSE: A Day After Vindman, President Trump Recalls Amb. Sondland

President Trump didn’t wait long.

If you were part of the sham impeachment against him, you can expect your pink slip.

He promised he would Drain The Swamp, and that’s exactly what he’s doing.

Who’s next?

Bottom line: They both serve at the pleasure of the President, and can be fired for any reason or no reason at all.

Dems can't seem to accept this.

Read this from Fox News:

U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, who testified about President Trump’s Ukraine dealings during the House impeachment hearings, said Friday he had been recalled from his overseas position, hours after a National Security Council aide who testified against the president was also fired.

“I was advised today that the president intends to recall me effective immediately as United States ambassador to the European Union," Sondland said.

Sondland's recall follows the dismissal of another impeachment witness, Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, who was fired  by the National Security Council and escorted off of the White House grounds on Friday.

The moves come just two days after Trump was acquitted in the Senate on two articles of impeachment brought by the House last year over his dealings with Ukraine.

With Sondland and Vindman out, eight of 12 officials who testified publicly during the impeachment hearings have left their roles, been fired, or reassigned.

On his way out, Ambassador Sondland called his assignment as E.U. Ambassador the "highlight of his career."

He also said that he was proud of his accomplishments there.

Read more about his comments from The Hill:

President Trump on Friday ousted Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, making him the second official of the day who testified in the House impeachment inquiry to be dismissed.

"I was advised today that the president intends to recall me effective immediately as United States Ambassador to the European Union,” Sondland said in a statement.

"I am proud of our accomplishments," Sondland added, thanking Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. "Our work here has been the highlight of my career.”

Sondland's statement came just hours after Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman was removed from his post with the National Security Council and escorted off the White House grounds.

Sondland provided damaging testimony against Trump in the House impeachment inquiry, saying during a public hearing that "everyone was in the loop" about the effort to pressure Ukraine to investigate the president's political rivals.

His dismissal marks an escalation in Trump's push to clear the administration of those who testified against him last year in the impeachment proceedings. That group now includes Sondland, who donated $1 million to Trump's inaugural committee.

Laura Ingraham called this Trump's "best week ever."

Not a great week if you're a Democrat, that's for sure.

Laura Ingraham celebrated what she called President Trump's "best week ever" Friday on "The Ingraham Angle," saying the president is winning "on every front."

"He's winning," Ingraham said. "He's winning on the economy, national security, judicial appointments and even legislatively his policies and his strategies are working and the American people are reaping huge benefits."

Ingraham also reacted to the White House firings of Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and Ambassador Gordon Sondland by urging the president to continue the process.

"Get rid of the radicals undermining from within and replace them with people who believe in your agenda, Mr. President," Ingraham said.

The also host celebrated the president's economic numbers.

"These are the good old days, folks," Ingraham said. "And surveys are showing that Americans are happier than they've been for four decades, even happier than under Ronald Reagan. This is great news for America, which means it's terrible news for the Democrats."

Senator Marco Rubio says that Vindman wasn't "fired", but reassigned.

Is he right? Does it make a difference?
