Militia Leader Leading U.S. Embassy Attack Hadi al-Amiri Was Obama WH Guest In 2011

Earlier today, the US Embassy in Baghdad was attacked by pro-Iran mobs, who took it under siege.

The attack seems to have been made in retaliation to U.S. airstrikes this past weekend against Iranian-backed terrorist organization Kataib Hezbollah, who killed a civilian American contractor.

One of the leaders behind the attack, as reported by WaPo, is Iranian militia head Hadi al-Amiri – who once visited Obama’s White House as a guest in 2011. 

Even back then, there were a lot of concerns about al-Amiri’s visit to the White House, due to his suspected links to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, an organization that has since come to be labeled a terrorist group underneath President Trump.
