Now-retired Navy SEAL Eddie Gallagher, who just a few months ago had his name cleared after spending months in prison on accusations of stabbing to death an ISIS teenager while deployed in Iraq back in 2017, just met up with President Trump, who supported him throughout the trials and even offered to pardon him if he had been found guilty by the courts.
After been cleared, Gallagher still faced a demotion in ranking, which Trump overruled, completely restoring his high SEAL rank last month.
Gallagher and his wife Andrea visited Trump and Melania at Mar-a-Lago, where they thanked POTUS for overruling the demotion with a “little gift from Eddie’s deployment to Mosul.”
