Following the release of Inspector General Horowitz’s report, which, despite finding 17 serious errors on the part of the Obama DOJ, drew the conclusion that there was no misconduct in the 2016 election.

In an interview, with NBC News, Barr held his ground when asked if he still believes the Trump campaign was spied on,
“It was clearly spied on. That’s what electronic surveillance is … going through people’s emails, wiring people up.”

He added,
“There was and never has been any evidence of collusion and yet this campaign and the president’s administration has been dominated by this investigation into what turns out to be completely baseless.”
