CNN’s Chris Cuomo Tries To Prove Trump Wrong In Live On Air Cellphone Stunt, Proves Him Right Instead

This one is just a must-see!

Talk about another epic fail for little “Fredo” Cuomo, gosh you almost start to feel sorry for this loser.

Almost.

So here’s what happened, let me bring you up to speed.

In the impeachment hearings, a guy named David Holmes, counselor for political affairs at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, claimed he overheard a phone call between President Trump and Ambassador Sondland.

The thing is, he claimed the call was NOT on speakerphone, but that he overheard it anyway just by being near President Trump.

Trump responded by Tweeting:

“I have been watching people making phone calls my entire life. My hearing is, and has been, great. Never have I been watching a person making a call, which was not on speakerphone, and been able to hear or understand a conversation. I’ve even tried, but to no avail. Try it live!”

Agree, Mr. President, same here!

But Cuomo did not agree.

Cuomo thought he could prove Trump wrong....prove he's a liar right on live TV!

That's what he thought.

So get this....

He dials up him mom, live on the air on CNN.

He chats with her off speakerphone and then asks her to say hi to the guest sitting right beside him.

He even holds the phone out and up to the guest a little bit.

And all we get is dead air.

Dead silence.

The viewers can't hear anything but more importantly the guest can't hear anything!

Cuomo has to flip the phone onto speakerphone where his mom immediately explains how his plan failed to work!

It's so classic!
