Mitt Romney Calls Trump’s Request For China & Ukraine To Investigate Biden “Wrong & Appalling”

RINO Romney is at it again, this time bashing Trump over his call for Ukraine and China to launch investigations into potential Biden family corruption – of which there is substantial suspicion over!

According to Mitt, however, Trump going after corruption is “wrong and appalling.”

Here’s Mitt Romney’s tweet targetting Trump over his saying that China and the Ukraine should investigate the Bidens:

Taking the side of the Bidens on this one is low, even for Romney.

Hmm...maybe, Swamp members, regardless of political affiliation, have got each others backs?

But, Romney's not the only so-called Republican to backstab Trump and defend Biden on this!

NBC News has more to say about Mitt Romney trash-talking Trump and its context:

Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, slammed President Donald Trump for urging Ukraine and China to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, calling the appeals "appalling."

"By all appearances, the President’s brazen and unprecedented appeal to China and to Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden is wrong and appalling," Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, tweeted Friday.

When the only American citizen President Trump singles out for China’s investigation is his political opponent in the midst of the Democratic nomination process, it strains credulity to suggest that it is anything other than politically motivated.

He also mocked Trump's insistence that he is motivated by concerns about corruption.

"When the only American citizen President Trump singles out for China’s investigation is his political opponent in the midst of the Democratic nomination process, it strains credulity to suggest that it is anything other than politically motivated," Romney wrote.

Trump was asked by a reporter earlier Friday if he'd ever asked "foreign leaders for any corruption investigations that don't involve your political opponents."

"You know, we would have to look," Trump answered.

Romney's comments came hours after Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska became the first sitting Republican senator to publicly criticize Trump for his comments on China on Thursday.

"China should start an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is just about as bad as what happened with Ukraine," Trump told reporters Thursday.

Breitbart added:

The Never Trump lawmaker’s comments come after President Trump said Thursday that China should investigate Biden and his son, Hunter Biden, for alleged corruption.

“China should start an investigation into the Bidens because what happened in China is just about as bad as Ukraine,” the president told reporters outside the White House ahead of a visit to Florida to deliver remarks on health care.

As Breitbart News extensively reported, Hunter Biden’s investment firm secured a $1.5 billion investment deal with the Bank of China after traveling with his father on Air Force Two to the country in 2013.

Further, President Trump re-upped his call for Ukraine to look into the Biden family’s dealings in the eastern European country.

He repeated his call for Ukraine to investigate the Bidens when reporters asked him again what he thought Ukranian officials should do with Biden, saying, “I would think that if they were honest about it, they would start a major investigation” into the former second family.
