I thought it might be time to take a trip down memory lane, because something tells me this might become REAL relevant in the not-too-distant future….
This was back during Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings, when Lindsey Graham (or as I like to call him Lindsey Graham 2.0, to indicate his marked change in temperament ever since John McCain died) embarked on quite a strange line of questioning.
He started asking Kavanaugh about criminal law and military law, and then got into military tribunals and the punishment for treason.

This was a line of questioning not previously asked of any other supreme court justice nominee.
I wonder why he would do that?  🤔
Perhaps we will find out very soon.
