Alpha Dog Firearms is sending a message to Beto O’Rourke – one of the Democrat presidential candidates that supports a mandatory gun buyback program to confiscate “assault rifles.”
On Friday, just hours after Beto promised the ban if he were to become president (and that’s a BIG if!) the Arizona-based gun company started running a “Beto Special” for discounted AR-15s & AK-47s – and, they sold out of AR-15s just FOUR HOURS later!
Seems like Beto’s “hell yeah” enthusiasm to take our guns is backfiring majorly!
Hell, no you ain't!
Check out the awesome story and strong message to Beto Alpha Dog Firearms is sending out his way on Twitter:
Townhall has more details on the gun store's "Beto Special":
As we saw time and again with former President Barack Obama, when talk of gun control (and now gun confiscation) takes off, so do gun sales. One gun store owner in Tempe, Arizona, decided to capitalize on Robert “Beto” O’Rourke’s pledge to “take your AR-15, your AK-47” at the third Democratic debate last week by running a promotion the next morning called “Beto Specials.”
“I saw the comments that he made, and I was kinda like, ‘You know what: the Hell with this guy,’” Alpha Dog Firearms Owner Matt Boggs told The HolloNet in an interview.
Here’s the ad he ran on his Facebook page:
Beto O'Rourke said "hell yes we're taking your AR's". Well Beto, we're discounting AR15's to such a low price that EVERY AMERICAN can afford one. How about the low low price of just $349.99? Yeah, that works. Available online only. Go to www.alphadogfirearmsaz.com and look for all our AR15 and AK47 deals under the BETO SPECIALS tab. Deals and discounts will be added fresh all day!
In a matter of hours he sold 200 rifles and had to inform his customers that the store was sold out.
The Daily Caller also said:
A gun store in Arizona sold out of AR-15s within four hours of running a “Beto Special” deal poking fun at the Democratic presidential candidate who promised to ban AR-15s if elected.
Alpha Dog Firearms announced it would be selling AR-15s for $349.99 on Friday, hours after Beto O’Rourke pledged to ban the weapons at the ABC News debate on Thursday night. O’Rourke was adamant that his buyback program would be mandatory, not voluntary, going on to assure the debate moderators that “hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15.”
“Our $349.99 AR deal sold out in less than 4 hours,” the store wrote on Facebook. “We’re trying to process the orders and work on getting more special deals for our good friend gun grabber Beto.”
