Kamala Harris Voices Support For Forced “Buyback” Of “Assault Weapons”

It’s not just Beto trying to take your guns anymore.

Kamala Harris has joined Robert Francis O’Rourke in calling for a “mandatory gun buyback program.” In other words, forced confiscation of “assault weapons”, including the most popular rifle in America the AR-15!

In an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Kamala Harris was asked by a college student audience member,

“Do you believe in the mandatory buyback of quote-unquote assault weapons and whether or not you do, how does that idea not go against fundamentally the Second Amendment?”

Of course, Kamala Harris dodged around the second part of the young man’s question – namely, the part about the Second Amendment – but did make her objective clear: she wants to take your guns!

“Great question. I do believe that we need to do buybacks and I’ll tell you why,” replied Harris,

“First of all, let’s be clear about what assault weapons are. They have been designed to kill a lot of human beings quickly. They are weapons of war with no place on the streets of a civil society. I’ve seen assault weapons kill babies and police officers.”

Watch the full clip for yourself here:

Three Democrat presidential hopefuls support mandatory gun buybacks: Kamala Harris, Beto O'Rourke, and Corey Booker.

But....these candidates' support of gun confiscations don't seem to be doing them any favors with voters!

If anything, they're shooting themselves in the foot with this one (no pun intended!) and doing America a favor by increasing Trump's odds of re-election in 2020!

Especially if one of these goons does get the Democrat nomination, it's going to be a landslide victory in 2020!

Fox News has more to say on Kamala Harris' support of gun buybacks:

Sen. Kamala Harris, D-Calif., expressed her support for a mandatory buyback program for "assault weapons" on Monday during her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon."

Towards the end of her interview, she took questions from the audience, made up of mostly college students. One of them had pressed Harris about her stance on guns.

"Do you believe in the mandatory buyback of quote-unquote assault weapons and whether or not you do, how does that idea not go against fundamentally the Second Amendment?" Andrew from Fordham University asked.

"Great question. I do believe that we need to do buybacks and I'll tell you why," Harris responded. "First of all, let's be clear about what assault weapons are. They have been designed to kill a lot of human beings quickly. They are weapons of war with no place on the streets of a civil society. I've seen assault weapons kill babies and police officers."

The Daily Caller also said:

Democratic California Sen. Kamala Harris has become the latest presidential candidate to say that she will force Americans to relinquish their assault weapons.

However, she’s prepared to “buy back” the rifles and “give people their value” for the confiscated firearm, Harris told an audience member Monday at “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Harris also said that “we need to do buy backs” when asked what her policy on assault weapons would be.

“Great question I do believe that we need to do buy backs, and I’ll tell you why. First of all, let’s be clear about what assault weapons are they have been designed to kill a lot of human beings quickly. They are weapons of war with no place on the streets of a civil society,” Harris said.

Harris went further, saying that if she could not get the legislation through Congress to ban the further sale of assault weapons, she is “prepared to take executive action” to do so.
