Ilhan Omar Says It’s Her “Constitutional Duty” To Impeach President Trump

How delusional can Ilhan Omar get?

Speaking on CBS News’ Face The Nation Ilhan Omar said that the question is not “if we’re going to impeach” President Trump but “when we’re going to impeach.”

Omar then went on to say that it is her and Dems’ “constitutional duty” they “must exercise” to impeach Trump (on ZERO basis, mind you!)

Watch the clip of Omar’s misinterpretation of
constitutional duty” for yourself here:

The context of Ilhan Omar's statement had to do with the re-newed call by Democrats to impeach Brett Kavanaugh.

She also tweeted out,

But, it doesn't seem like the American people are buying it...

Check out these awesome reply tweets:

Breitbart said this about Omar's self-proclaimed "constitutional duty" to get rid of Trump:

Omar said, “Well, what I have always said was that it wasn’t if we were going to impeach, it is when we were going to impeach. And I think it is okay for some people to have hesitations, for other people to catch up to where some of us have been for a really long time. And I think with Chairman Nadler, he understands that, you know, we have a constitutional duty and we must exercise that constitutional duty.”

The Daily Caller also commented:

Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar called Sunday for impeachment proceedings against both Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and President Donald Trump.

Following a New York Times piece that promised a bombshell accusation against Kavanaugh, Omar joined a number of others in calling for the newest justice’s impeachment. The freshman congresswoman also threw in a renewed call for the president’s impeachment as well.

“Nothing terrifies this corrupt president more than the idea of Congress upholding the rule of law. We must open impeachment inquiries against Trump *and* Kavanaugh immediately. It’s our constitutional duty,” she tweeted.
