As if the Democrat debates haven’t given enough evidence that all Democrats do is pander to illegal Mexican immigrants to get votes, then this should: DNC president Tom Perez is holding a fundraising event in Mexico City next month.
Let that sink in: Americans fundraising outside America. Americans whose campaigns cater more to illegal immigrants than hardworking, tax-paying American citizens, nonetheless!
How desperate can the Democrats get?!?
Although it is illegal for foreigners to donate to political campaigns, the choice of location for the Democrat fundraiser is raising eyebrows for good reason.
I’ll just leave it for you to decide yourself why on earth Democrats are campaigning in Mexico…
Bloomberg has more details on the fundraiser:
Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez plans to hold party fundraising events with the American expatriate community in Mexico City next month.
Perez will participate in three events in the Mexican capital on Sept. 28, according to invitations obtained by Bloomberg News. The events range from happy hour drinks with a $25 minimum student entry to a dinner where tickets range from $1,000 to $15,000.
The registration form on the DNC website require that attendees be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and enter passport or green card numbers. It is illegal for foreigners to contribute to American political campaigns. Evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 election aimed at benefiting Donald Trump has been a persistent drag on his presidency.
DNC spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa confirmed that Perez will be holding the events.
The Daily Caller also said:
Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez will hold three fundraisers for American ex-patriots in Mexico, as Democrats struggle to keep pace with Republicans in fundraising.
Perez will host three events in Mexico City on Sept. 28, Bloomberg reported. One event is a happy hour that will cost $25 to attend. Perez will also host a dinner where tickets are going for between $1,000 and $15,000.
DNC spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa’s confirmed to Bloomberg that the events would be taking place.
The DNC will require attendees to provide information showing that they are American citizens or permanent residents, in order to comply with federal campaign finance laws. About 1.5 American citizens live in Mexico, Bloomberg reported, citing State Department data.
