Rep. Ilhan Omar is not happy about being barred from visiting Israel.
She’s just released an official statement in response to the ban by Israeli officials earlier today.
According to Omar’s side of the story, it’s not her support of the BDS movement to boycott Israel that got her banned (keep in mind that Israeli law permits authorities to deny entry into Israel by those who are in favor of boycotting the country.)
It’s not her repeated anti-Israel statements, like this one:
