Retired NFL Player Jack Brewer Urged Trump To Call Out Rep. Cummings & Baltimore!

Former NFL player Jack Brewer, an African-American, just threw a huge wrench into the liberal narrative of Trump’s “racist” Baltimore tweets that targeted Rep. Elijah Cummings.

“I had a chance to meet with President Trump, and I told him please call out Elijah Cummings and Baltimore. I asked him to do that three weeks ago, and he did it,” said Brewer in a recent interview on Fox Nation.

Turns out that the liberal outrage spawned by Trump’s tweets may have had their origins in a black sports star’s wish for President Trump to call out Cummings and the scary, horrible conditions Baltimore residents are living in right now…which Trump fulfilled!

How’s the left gonna spin this one?

Or will they even address it?

Watch the interview with Jack Brewer to hear what he had to say for yourself here:

This update to the liberal narrative has Twitter going crazy!

Take a look at what people are saying about it:

Following the Wednesday interview, Jack Brewer echoed his sentiment on Twitter:

Fox News commented:

Former NFL player Jack Brewer said he personally asked President Trumpweeks ago to bring attention to the issues of Baltimore and call out Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., for his failure to address the poverty and crime that have overtaken his city.

"I had a chance to meet with President Trump, and I told him please call out Elijah Cummings and Baltimore. I asked him to do that three weeks ago and he did it," said Brewer, a former NFL linebacker from 2002 to 2006.

Appearing on Fox Nation's"Deep Dive," Brewer said he reached out to the president following a recent trip to Baltimore, where he came away devastated by what he saw.

"I'm seeing these kids that don't have any core, no culture within them. They don't have anyone teaching them or training them," Brewer explained.

Brewer, who went on to a successful business career after his playing days, blames the politicians in Baltimore for focusing only on "issues that help them raise money," instead of the issues plaguing the "poor black kids whose parents are not donating to their PACs and funds."

Brewer called out Cummings directly for being "front and center" when it's politically convenient and questioned his lack of action in his own city.

The Western Journal has more to say:

Another “Trump’s-a-racist” argument just ran into trouble.

Since President Donald Trump started his very public feud with Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings over the conditions in Cummings’ Baltimore congressional district, Democrats and their mainstream media allies have been falling all over themselves to call it another example of the president’s alleged racism.

But retired NFL player Jack Brewer – who happens to be black — has a completely different explanation.

In an interview with Fox Nation on Wednesday, Brewer, a journeyman safety who played for the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles and Arizona Cardinals, said he brought up the topic of Baltimore to President Donald Trump in July.

“I had a chance to meet with President Trump, and I told him please call out Elijah Cummings and Baltimore,” said Brewer, who is now a businessman and conservative commentator. “I asked him to do that three weeks ago, and he did it.”
