FBI Arrests Two Somalian Refugees!

On July 26, two Somalian refugees were arrested at a Tucson, AZ airport after having been in communication with an undercover FBI agent under the guise of helping them make travel arrangements to fly off to Egypt – where the two men planned to carry out terrorist acts on behalf of ISIS!

According to the FBI agent that communicated with them prior to their arrest, the two men made some very scary, disturbing statements, including that if their travel plans fell through, they would instead carry out a terrorist attack right there in Tucson.

One of the men also reportedly expressed desire to become “the beheading guy” after they made it overseas and made clear his desire to “achieve martyrdom” by claiming “the best wake-up call is Islamic State to get another victory or another 9/11.”

Scary, crazy stuff. One can only imagine what would have happened had the FBI not put an end to their plans.

Take a look at this breaking news that hit Twitter:

Arizona Central has more details on why the men were arrested:

Two men were arrested at a Tucson airport after they pledged to provide support for ISIS and planned to travel overseas to fight on behalf of the terrorist organization, according to federal officials.

Ahmed Mahad Mohamed, 21, and Abdi Yemani Hussein, 20, were arrested on July 26 at the Tucson International Airport, according to the Department of Justice.

Federal court documents show the two men were in communication with an undercover FBI employee who they believed was helping make arrangements to travel to Egypt to carry out terrorist attacks there.

Court documents said they planned to conduct an attack in Tucson if they weren't able to travel.

Both Mohamed and Hussein came to the U.S. as Somalian refugees, according to an affidavit filed in federal court. Mohamed obtained lawful permanent residency and Hussein is still a refugee.

An undercover FBI agent began communicating with Mohammed in August 2018. They told Mohammed they were located overseas. Mohammed allegedly told the FBI employee that he wanted to travel to Syria or Iraq to join ISIS and "achieve martyrdom."

"Mohamed stated, 'I love jihad so much wallahi (Arabic for 'I swear by Allah') I give my jihad life, I only think about jihad everywhere I go, but my father and mom they don't like jihad if they knew me I want to make hijrah they would spy me,'" the affidavit said.

He also told the employee he wanted to become "the beheading guy" if he made it to Syria, the affidavit detailed. He told another officer he saved $2,000 for the trip.

The two undercover FBI employees continued to communicate with Mohamed as he made plans to travel to Egypt to join ISIS with the intent of eventually committing terrorism, the affidavit said.

Townhall also had the following to say about the would-be terrorists:

Yesterday the Department of Justice announced the indictment of two Somalian refugees after they attempted to join ISIS in the Sinai Peninsula.

According to the indictment the two men, Ahmed Mahad Mohamed and Abdi Yemani Hussein, started hitting the gym in order to get stronger so they could easily perform beheadings.

"On or about June 26, 2019, MOHAMED told the UC (undercover FBI agent) that he and 'abu' jihad started going to the gym so they could get stronger and 'behad those kuffar,'" the indictment states. "MOHAMED indicated that he wanted to make hijrah and asked for help from the UC. MOHAMED state that he was 'a lion bu killing the kuffar and behading.' In addition, MOHAMED told the UC, 'if I go to Syria I want to be the behading person wallahi this kuffar I want to kill them so many I am thirsty their blood.' MOHAMED indicated he wanted to travel to Syria, Egypt and/or Iraq."

Kuffar is another word for infidel or non-Muslim. Hijrah is defined here as Islamic immigration or movement.
