Trump’s latest brilliant idea is causing Democrats like Nancy Pelosi to show their true colors.
Recently, the president proposed to release illegal immigrants that had been detained back to sanctuary cities, including Pelosi’s hometown of San Francisco.
Since Democrats have repeatedly refused to acknowledge the illegal alien situation in our country as a crisis and have (at least claimed to) support the idea of welcoming illegals to our nation with open arms, it would naturally follow that Democrats should be cheering at the prospect of letting immigrants into our free country.
However, this isn’t the case. Trump’s proposal left “champion of rights for illegal immigrants” Nancy Pelosi fuming mad. She called the plan “despicable” and evidence of the Trump administration’s “cynicism and cruelty.”
What’s so cruel and despicable about letting immigrants go free?
Shouldn’t Pelosi and other Democrats be thrilled over the idea of giving them what they (supposedly) want?
Unless, (shocker) they’ve just been lying this whole time and are actually just using immigrants to get more votes. (Ironic, because using immigrants “as pawns in their warped game” is the exact thing Nancy accused Trump of doing.)
Stop projecting your own problems onto Trump and take a good look in the mirror. You can’t have your cake and eat it too, Nancy.
