Rep. Omar Defies Trump And Even Dem. Leadership, Says She Does Not Recognize New Venezuelan President

I have a question….isn’t this illegal?

The President is supposed to control all foreign policy and interactions with other heads of state.

When our President and all of Congress (except Omar) are in agreement to recognize the new President of Venezuela, not to mention most of the rest of the western world, isn’t it approaching sedition, treason, mutiny, or some similar concept when Rep. Omar decides do publicly contradict all of them?

I think we need investigation.  

Because this isn’t right!

The Story: During an interview, Omar was asked if she shares the view of her fellow Democrats and Western governments that Guaido is the current leader of the country. “Absolutely not,” Omar replied. She went on to imply that the US Government aid to the country is “in the guise of eventually invading this country.”

Most European nations have recognized Juan Guaido as the current leader of the country. The US administration was among the first to recognize Guaido as Venezuela’s leader. Democrats including Nancy Pelosi who said, “I support the decision of the National Assembly, Venezuela’s sole remaining democratic institution, to recognize Juan Guaidó, President of the National Assembly, as the Interim President until full, fair and free elections can be held.”
