And they say we don’t need a Wall?
They say there’s no Crisis on the Border?
How can anyone living in reality possibly believe that, when again today Border Patrol just arrested another group of 326 illegal immigrants who had crossed the border where there is no barrier!
Well done by our Border Patrol, thank you for the wonderful work!
But this is getting ridiculous!
Take a look:
Here are details, from the Arizona Daily Independent:
A group of 325 Central Americans were detected by U.S. Border Patrol agents after the group illegally entered the country and surrendered to agents west of Lukeville.
The group was discovered by a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations helicopter, investigating a possible campfire spotted by a surveillance camera, said a CBP statement.
The large group entered the country illegally in an area where there is only a vehicle barrier designed to prevent crossings, the release said.
The Central Americans told Border Patrol agents that “buses and trucks dropped them off throughout the night on Mexico’s Federal Highway 2 that parallels the U.S. border less than 50 yards from this area,” the release said. Once the entire group arrived, they crossed together at 8 a.m. to await authorities. The group consisted of individuals and family units from Central America and included nearly 150 juveniles, 32 of whom were unaccompanied.”
Agents patrolling other areas had to be reassigned to assist with caring for and transported the group more to the nearest Border Patrol facility for processing.
And confirmed by Tucson.com:
Border Patrol apprehended a group of 325 Central Americans west of Lukeville, Ariz., on Thursday after the group entered the country illegally, say border officials.
A Border Patrol press release says the group entered into the country in an area where there are vehicle barriers intended to prevent crossings.
Members of the group told officials that buses and trucks dropped them off throughout Wednesday night on Mexico's Highway 2, which is very close to the U.S. border. The group said they crossed together at 8 a.m. to await authorities, according to the press release.
The group included 150 children, of which 32 were unaccompanied. Agents transported the group more than 15 miles to a staging area where they'll be transported by bus to a Border Patrol facility for processing, the press release says.
Officials said two of the children, a 5-year-old who may have chicken pox and a 12-year-old with a skin infection, were transported to a hospital.
