Twitter Reacts When Top Democrat Says He Wants To Ban Teens In MAGA Hats

Are you kidding me?

You’ve probably seen a lot online about the dust up between the “teens in MAGA hats” and the “Indigenous people” at the rally this weekend.

Each side is claiming the moral high ground.

I’ve watched all the videos and I’ll be honest, it looks like a lot of foolish behavior on both sides to me.

But that’s not what I want to talk about.

I want to talk about the Democrat response to this incident, which is even more asinine than most things that come from the Democrats.

Poll:  Should Nancy Pelosi Be Removed From Office?

What do the Democrats want to do?

Ban teens wearing MAGA hats.

No, this is not The Onion.

It’s a real story (sadly) as you can see from the Tweet below.

That’s top Democrat John Yarmuth and that’s the blue check by his name.

Take a look at what he said:

I am calling for a total and complete shutdown of teenagers wearing MAGA hats until we can figure out what is going on. They seem to be poisoning young minds. [1/2]

The conduct we saw in this video is beyond appalling, but it didn’t happen in a vacuum. This is a direct result of the racist hatred displayed daily by the President of the United States who, sadly, some mistake for a role model. [2/2]

The response on Twitter can fast and furious and it was not kind to Mr. Yarmuth.

Deplorables and sane-thinking people did not hold back as they absolutely ripped Yarmuth for an idiotic idea.

Here they are (please enjoy):

This is my personal favorite:

And if it's not that one, then this is my favorite:

Breitbart picked up on the story as well and had this to say:

House Budget Committee chair Rep. John Yarmuth (D-KY) called Sunday for a ban on teenagers wearing “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hats, in response to a viral video of a confrontation between Catholic students and Native American counter-demonstrators at the March for Life on Friday in Washington, DC.

Yarmuth holds one of the most powerful positions in the Democrat-run U.S. House of Representatives.

He blamed President Donald Trump for the students’ behavior.

Yarmuth tweeted:

The MAGA hats are one of the most recognizable symbols of the 2016 Trump presidential campaign, and are commonly worn by Trump supporters.

However, as numerous critics have pointed out, the confrontation was widely mis-reported, and took place in almost exactly the opposite way it had been reported in the mainstream media.

The students had been targeted by racial slurs, and the Native American activist approached them, rather than the other way around.

Yarmuth, like every other member of Congress, swore an oath to support and defend the U.S. Constitution — including the First Amendment, which declares: “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech.”

I'd love to hear what YOU think?

Did Yarmuth have his head up his ass on this one?

You know, I'll say this.....I don't want to ridicule the Democrats too much for stuff like this because eventually they'll just stop talking.

How does that famous quote go?

It’s better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt.

Yeah, we don't need them going silent on us, then we won't continue to get gems like this one!

Keep up the good work Dems, PLEASE continue to tell us your vision for America!  2020 is coming up very soon, and we need to know your FULL thoughts before then!  Keep 'em coming!  😂
