Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi have been acting like they have a united front against Trump’s wall.
The only problem with that?
They apparently don’t.
Side note: they also apparently don’t have the support of the American people, as a new poll shows that nearly 80% of Americans believe there is a crisis or problem at the southern border!
Perhaps seeing these polls, several Democrats are wading into support for Trump’s wall.
Take a look….
Here is Rep. Cheri Bustos, D-IL, who also happens to be the chairwoman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, saying this:
“If we have a partial wall, if we have fencing, if we have technology used to keep our border safe, all of that is fine.”
And here is Democrat Sen. Ben Cardin of Maryland saying this:
“Certainly you need barriers and we support barriers.”
And here is Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Oregon, telling CNN:
“Some fencing is useful, some barriers are useful. There’s a lot of surveillance technology. I’ve been to some cities on the border that have triple fencing and have more personnel and have the technology to see the people moving in the middle of the night.”
And Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-CA:
Senate Minority Whip Sen. Dick Durbin, D-IL saying he believes there will be a new barrier of some sort in the future:
And Rep. John Garamendi, D-CA saying this:
“Democrats have repeatedly said that we will support border security, we will support all of its elements including fences.”
And Rep. Katherine Clark, D-MA, who happens to serve as the Vice Chair of the Democrat conference, telling MSNBC:
“You know, I think there are parts of the border that would benefit from repairing fencing and other barricades that already exist there."
HOLY WOW, that's a lot of Dems moving over to Trump's side!
And those are just the ones we found.
Are they more?
WILL THERE be more in the days to come?
Rats can sense when the ship is going down and they flee.
Is that what we're seeing here?
Time will tell.
Trump on his way to winning yet again?
