While many on the Right (isn’t it funny how Republicas are on the “Right”?) have slammed the vile comments coming from new Senator Rashida Tlaib, it has been crickets from the Democrats.
Actually, that’s not totally true, some Democrats have said they had no problem with them!
Send Nancy Pelosi a Truckload of Bricks!
In fact, Nancy Pelosi seems just fine with it, take a look:
In case you missed it, here's what Sen. Tlaib said in vile outburst about PRESIDENT Trump:
But at least one man on the Left has some integrity.
And you could probably guess who.....of course it is Sen. Joe Manchin.
Manchin condemned the remarks from Tlaib, calling them disgusting and horrible.
He's right.
From The Hill:
Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) on Friday slammed Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) for profanely saying President Trump should be impeached, calling it "so disgusting."
"It was horrible, Neil," Manchin told host Neil Cavuto on Fox News. "No one should approve of that, and I hope she doesn’t talk to her son that way either. You know, what can you say? I can’t in any way condone that. That’s not how we act in West Virginia. It’s not how we talk about public leaders."
"We might disagree with each other, but we try to get through it, we try to find a pathway forward. To act like that is awful and to speak like that is even more deplorable. I am so sorry. I want to apologize to all Americans, any sitting Congress person — there’s 535 of us there, 100 senators and 435 Congress people. We should have better manners than that, I assure you.”
Tlaib, one of the first two Muslim women to be elected to Congress, has caught flak for comments she made at a MoveOn.org rally near Capitol Hill on Thursday night.
“When your son looks at you and says, ‘Momma, look, you won. Bullies don’t win.’ And I said, ‘Baby, they don’t.’ Because we’re going to go in there and impeach the motherf---er,” Tlaib said as the crowd cheered her on.
Trump on Friday called the comments "disrespectful."
"I thought her comments were disgraceful," Trump said in the Rose Garden, adding he thought the remarked “dishonored” the country and Tlaib's family.
Manchin is not the only Dem to call out Tlaib's profanity.
“You cannot accomplish very much of anything unless you have civility and show respect for your colleagues. And I think those kind of comments do not take us in the right direction,” said House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.).
While Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told MSNBC she “wouldn’t use that language,” she added that she’s “not in the censorship business.”
Joe, you've got a lot of common sense and integrity.....why don't you just make it official and become a Republican?
We'll take you in! 😊
