Well, well, well…..cue the Democrat head explosions in 3-2-1…..
Donald Trump recently declared that he wanted to have a military parade. Not knowing their history, CNN and the Looney Left went nuts, comparing Trump to a dictator.
What these fools didn’t realize and weren’t smart enough to know is that Military Parades had been common place in America, as recently as their hero, John F. Kennedy.
And now a video ha surfaced showing the Military Parade put on by JFK shortly after he took office.
From YouTube, here’s the video description:
With their new home, the White House, in background, President John F. Kennedy and the First Lady walk on a platform to a reviewing stand to watch the inaugural parade. First Lady Jacqueline in sporting boots and a muff. The President in Top Hat.A replica of Kennedy’s PT boat from World War II passes the reviewing stand along Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington and Harold L. “Buddy” Heaton rides a buffalo and draws laughter and applause from spectators in the Presidential reviewing stands.
From Facebook, here is an excellent summary from Claire Mattina DeCunzo:
Resurfaced video shows JFK with massive ‘military parade’ – including nukes
When news broke this week that President Donald Trump wanted to plan a military parade on Pennsylvania Avenue, Democrats could not wait to ridicule the idea as insane and not worthy of the time or effort. Some spoke of how ludicrous it was, to them, that the president was rumored to have wanted military tanks and equipment at his Inauguration Day parade.
But history often belies Democrat claims and hysteria. That’s exactly what happened when a resurfaced video of John F. Kennedy ’s military parade, which included nuclear weapons, made the rounds on social media this week. But now the Democrats are concerned about a military parade? Looks more like stereotypical Democrat hypocrisy.
Here’s the video, take a look:
Now parades and specifically motorcades were not always kind to old JFK, so let's hope this is where the Trump parallel ends.
