An update on the Senate shut-down showdown!

Breitbart reported late on Friday that at least three Democratic senators are defying Chuck Schumer and will vote to keep the government open.

From Breitbart:

Sen. Heiti Heitkamp (D-ND), a vulnerable Democrat up for re-election in 2018, announcing her intention to vote for the bill is a horrendous sign for Schumer amid his efforts to try to hold the line against the bill.

This imperils Democrats even more, and makes it even harder for people like Sens. Claire McCaskill (D-MO), Jon Tester (D-MT), Tammy Baldwin (D-WI), Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Doug Jones (D-AL), and more to vote to shut down the federal government on Friday night.

Schumer’s wall is crumbling.

One thing to watch - not only is the President tipping the Capitol Hill fight his way at the last minute, he's also created a trademark Trump "winning" situation.

Trump loves to have 2 ways to win.

If the Democrats all break his way, this could be the start of passing traditional laws without the need for reconciliation.

If the government is shut down, it probably won't be for more than the weekend.

If that happens, it gives Trump a chance to exhibit "Presidential" calm optimism and reassurance, doing whatever he can to help the people through a mess that the Democrats created.

The art of the deal. The squashing of Schumer.
