BREAKING: Sen. Dianne Feinstein Hospitalized

Another Democrat is missing from the Senate this week.

Diane Feinstein the ancient has been hospitalized.

According to Breaking 911,

The 89-year-old Senator said in a statement, “I was diagnosed over the February recess with a case of shingles. I have been hospitalized and am receiving treatment in San Francisco and expect to make a full recovery. I hope to return to the Senate later this month.”

Feinstein, who is well past her expiration date, announced she would retire (finally) at the end of her term.

The Gateway Pundit reported:

The California Senator is retiring after THREE decades in the Senate and more than 50 years in office.

Last year the San Francisco Chronicle reported Feinstein is in such bad shape that her own Democrat colleagues want her to retire before her term expires at the end of 2024.

The California Senator will be 91 years old when her term expires at the end of 2024.

Feinstein isn’t the only Democrat taken down by health matters this month.

Senator John Fetterman has been absent for some time now, straining the Democrat majority in the Senate.

The Washington Times reported:

Democrats hold a narrow 51-49 majority in the Senate and Ms. Feinstein will not be the party’s only member knocked out of commission in the coming weeks. Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, who also suffered a stroke last fall, checked himself into the hospital two weeks ago for clinical depression and his return is not expected to be imminent.

Not trying to rejoice in others’ suffering – just trying to find the silver lining to this rain cloud, and MSN.com may have nailed it.

Democrats have lacked an outright majority this week in the Senate as a number of temporary absences complicate their ability to confirm Joe Biden’s nominees and give Republicans an easier time sending legislation to the president’s desk.

Feinstein’s public statement is that she’ll return to work as soon as she’s recovered.

That’s just what we need, more mummies running this country into the ground!
