Gov. DeSantis Introduces “Permanent Protections” Against “Coercive Biomedical Policies”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced his latest plan to protect medical freedoms and bodily autonomy at a Tuesday press conference.

“Today, I announced an initiative to make protections against coercive biomedical policies permanent,” DeSantis tweeted.

The initiative, dubbed “Prescribe Freedom,” introduces a legislative proposal to make permanent many of the measures DeSantis introduced during the COVID-19 plandemic.

“Prescribe Freedom” would permanently prohibit:

• COVID-19 jab passports
• COVID-19 jab and mask requirements to attend any school
• Any COVID-19 mask requirements
• All discrimination based on vaxx or booster status

Gov. DeSantis’ office stated in this press release:

Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced a common-sense legislative proposal to make permanent COVID-19 freedoms in Florida. This strong pro-freedom, anti-mandate action will permanently protect Floridians from losing their jobs due to COVID-19 vaccine mandates, protects parents’ rights, and institutes additional protections that prevent discrimination based on COVID-19 vaccine status.

“When the world lost its mind, Florida was a refuge of sanity, serving strongly as freedom’s linchpin,” DeSantis said.

“These measures will ensure Florida remains this way and will provide landmark protections for free speech for medical practitioners.”

As shown in this flyer, “Prescribe Freedom” provides Floridians with “Permanent Protections Against The Biomedical Security State.”

“Prescribe Freedom”:

• Permanently prohibits COVID-19 mask requirements throughout the state
• Permanently prohibits COVID-19 jab and mask requirements in all schools
• Permanently prohibits COVID-19 jab passports in Florida
• Permanently prohibits employers from hiring or firing based on mRNA jabs

The initiative also protects medical freedom of choice:

• Prohibits discrimination based on COVID-19 jab status
• Removes two-tiered test and mask discrimination

The initiative additionally protects medical freedom of speech:

• Protects medical professionals’ freedom of speech
• Protects the right to disagree with the preferred narrative of the medical community
• Protects the religious views of medical professionals
