The House of Representatives reportedly isn't wasting time on bringing the matter to a vote.

The GOP-led House is scheduled to vote Monday to repeal funding for the 87,000 new IRS agents.

Just the News reported:

The vote is expected to occur after the House votes on the new proposed rules package. For the legislation to be adopted, it would need to pass the Democrat-controlled Senate and be signed by President Biden.

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise said the House also plans to vote this week on a bill to form a committee on "the weaponization of the federal government against citizens" and legislation that would end oil sales to China from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).

The votes on the committee bill and the oil sales to China bill are expected to Tuesday or Wednesday.

House Majority Leader Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) tweeted:

"THIS WEEK—The House Republican Majority will move to pass legislation to: - Defund the 87,000 new IRS agents - Establish a committee on the weaponization of the federal government against citizens - End SPR oil sales to China - Hold woke prosecutors accountable."
