Congressional Democrats aren’t exactly wonderful human beings, but representative Katie Porter has found a way to stand out among them in the worst possible way.
According to newly unearthed text messages, Porter blamed a staffer for giving her COVID, berated her, and then demoted her.
That staffer was Sasha Georgiades, a former member of the Wounded Warrior fellowship program.
Georgiades was a staffer for Porter for two years before leaving in August.
In the text messages, Porter berated Georgiades for not following office COVID protocol.
Georgiades apologized and then told Porter that her head wasn’t in the right place due to the fact that she had just learned that a friend of hers from the Navy was murdered.
Porter didn’t seem to care, and simply responded:
“Well, you gave me Covid. In 25 months, it took you not following the rules to get me sick. My children have nobody to care for them.”
Wow…
Democrat Rep. #KatiePorter is rightfully under fire for her despicable treatment of veteran fellow as former staffer decries culture of fear. The true heart of the liberal white Democrat’s heart for all to see… wretched vile creatures.https://t.co/HTEjT1huxr

Fox News has more on Porter’s terrible behavior:
The office of Rep. Katie Porter, D-Calif., is taking heat for how she treated a veteran and former staffer in July for allegedly violating “office protocols” by catching COVID-19.
Screenshots of text messages between Porter and her former Wounded Warrior program fellow, Sasha Georgiades, were published by the Dear White Staffers Twitter account on Thursday.
Screenshots of Porter’s text messages were leaked online:

The Fox News article continues:
“I was a wounded warrior fellow so the program would have to have had fire [me],” Georgiades said. “Essentially I was demoted to remote and banned from the office.”
“I do believe if there hadn’t been that protection of the wounded warrior program she would have,” the Navy veteran added.
Georgiades said that her experience “isn’t uncommon” in Porter’s office.
“She has made multiple staffers cry and people are generally so anxious to even staff her because if ANYTHING goes wrong she flips out on whatever staffer is present,” Georgiades said. “She just talks to staffers however she wants.”
“At one point we had an office hike and she left her kids with the staffers in the back while she walked off with the chief of staff,” she continued. “There is no regard to us or feelings or even what we are going through. It is only about her and what she wants. I tried to pass on legislation for veterans and active duty members several times and was told no because she didn’t like who had written it.”

Initially, it was reported that Porter fired the staffer.
Daily Mail confirmed that not to be the case, but the behavior from Porter was still disgusting:
‘Congresswoman Porter was informing her that she would work from home for the remaining three weeks of her fellowship,’ Porter spokesperson Jordan Wong told DailyMail.com
‘Why did you not follow office protocol on testing? It’s really disappointing,’ Porter said in July. ‘I’m terribly sorry. You’re right I should have done better. Just because I felt okay in the moment doesn’t mean I was,’ the staffer wrote back.
‘Sasha — I cannot allow you back in the office given your failure to follow office policies. Cody will be in touch anout (sic) having your personal effects shipped or delivered to your home, and will lay out your remote work schedule and responsibilities for the last few weeks,’ Porter said.
Georgiades went on to thank Porter and tell her: ‘I hate to have disappointed you in the manner, as I know it isn’t an excuse I had found out a friend from the navy had been murdered and my head wasn’t in the right place. Not an excuse but the reasoning for the lack of forethought. I appreciate everything this office has done for me.’
Porter shot back: ‘Well you gave me covid. In 25 months, it took you not following the rules to get me sick. My children have nobody to care for them.’
The party of love and tolerance ladies and gentlemen…

Rep. Katie Porter is the kind of person who has always believed you’re a moral failure if you catch Covid.

Raise your daughters to be classy women like Ivanka Trump and Patricia Heaton, NOT nasty women like Katie Porter and Meghan Markle.
