Forget George Santos: Here’s a List of Democrat Liars Beginning with Elizabeth Warren

Have you heard about George Santos?

He’s the newly elected congressman from New York who lied about his resume.

Now, Democrats are demanding that he resign before he even gets sworn in!

Of course, should not be condoned.

But let’s not kid ourselves: Politicians lie all the time. George Santos is not unique.

Does this excuse his actions?

No…

BUT… if you are going to hold him to one standard, then shouldn’t all politicians, especially Democrat, be held to the same standard?

This is the question that Marjorie Taylor Greene posted on Twitter:

George Santos lied about his resume, and the left is demanding he resign.

Ilhan Omar says she didn’t marry her brother, she lied.
Elizabeth Warren said she was Native American Indian, she lied.
The left said George Floyd didn’t die of a drug overdose, they lied.

Well, MTG isn’t alone.

More and more people are pointing out the lies that Democrat politicians have told over the years.

And here’s the interesting thing: All of them are still in office. None of them have resigned over their lies!

Those clutching their pearls over George Santos didn’t so much as bat an eye when Elizabeth Warren spent her entire professional exploiting a false claim that she was Native American.

Democrats want George Santos to resign over “embellishing” his resume.

Elizabeth Warren stated, “That makes my Native American blood boil.”

Let’s begin with Elizabeth Warren, who appeared to use race and heritage to bolster her political career.

She claimed that she had Native American blood.

In fact, she even took a DNA test!

But bad news for her – it backfired.

According to The Hill:

Elizabeth Warren has repeatedly identified herself as Cherokee. From 1986 to 1995 she listed herself as Native American in the Association of American Law Schools directory of law professors. After gaining tenure, she insisted University of Pennsylvania categorize her as Native American, too. She then identified herself as Native American to Harvard — in her application and hiring materials and in other forms beyond.

Harvard has insisted that Warren’s Native American ancestry made no impact on their hiring decisions. Yet, the university immediately held up the recruitment of Warren, a “Native American woman,” to push back against claims that they were insufficiently diverse and diffuse pressure to hire more people of color. Warren was described as Harvard Law’s “first woman of color” in a 1997 Fordham Law Review article. She even published multiple recipes to a cookbook, Pow Wow Chow: A Collection of Recipes from Families of the Five Civilized Tribes — all signed, “Elizabeth Warren, Cherokee.”

According to the test, Warren’s DNA is between 1/64 and 1/1032 Columbian, Mexican and/or Peruvian (used as proxies for measuring Cherokee heritage for reasons described in the report); between 0.1 percent and 1.5 percent of her DNA may be Native American in origin; she may have had a Native American ancestor between six to 10 generations back.

Oops!

But Warren is hardly alone!

Let’s not forget that Ilhan Omar has been accused of marrying her brother!

While we’re on the topic of George Santos being a serial liar, can we investigate Ilhan Omar for marrying her brother?

These allegations haven’t been brought up because of Santos.

Rather, they have been circulating for years.

Per Newsweek:

Such allegations regarding Omar, a Democratic lawmaker for Minnesota, have circulated for years. Former President Donald Trump and GOP Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene are among those who have amplified the claim.

Those who have backed the allegation say that Omar married her brother to help him obtain American citizenship.

And what about Clyde Shavers, who won his race after claiming to serve in the military?

There’s only one problem…

Even his own father says Shavers never served in the armed forces!

While George Santos lied about his business background, Shavers lied about his military service.

I don’t know about you… but to me, it’s much more dishonorable to lie about your alleged military service!

Crosscut provides the damning details:

Among Washington Democrats, Clyde Shavers could be called “a good fit” for the military-heavy 10th Legislative District: a veteran, nuclear submarine officer, attorney and advocate. And Shavers has put that story to good use, referring to a career as a submariner in his big-dollar campaign to unseat state Rep. Greg Gilday, R-Camano.

It’s a story that can be found on an archived version of Shavers’ campaign website: “For more than 8 years, he served as a nuclear submarine officer and public affairs officer with tours in the Middle East and Southeast Asia.”

But that narrative deflated this week, after Shavers’ father, Brett Shavers, penned a letter detailing how the candidate never served on a submarine and isn’t yet an attorney. In a statement, Shavers acknowledged not serving on a submarine and not being an attorney despite having described himself as one in a state disclosure filing. But he questioned his father’s political motives – and called for healing and moving forward.

The episode arrives in the closing stretch of a major push by Democrats to unseat Gilday – perhaps the most vulnerable House Republican – and boost their majorities in the Legislature. The race is playing out in one of the rare districts currently electing both Democrats and Republicans to Olympia. The 10th Legislative District includes Island County as well as parts of Skagit and Snohomish counties.

This list could go on and on and on.

Democrat politicians appear to lie all the time and get away with it.

There aren’t calls for them to resign in disgrace like there are around George Santos.

Again, this isn’t to say we support or condone what Santos has done.

This is simply to point out the hypocrisy of the left and the mainstream media.
