Tulsi Gabbard Blasts Congressmen “Controlled by the War Machine” for Blindly Cheering Zelensky

The blind support that many Americans are willing to give to Volodymyr Zelensky is disturbing.

The Ukrainian president has done nothing but demand more money from the United States for his own warmongering, yet he is held up as some sort of folk hero.

Tulsi Gabbard, like many Americans, sees through Zelensky’s thinly veiled charade.

Gabbard was a guest on Tucker Carlson’s show, and she did not hold back about how she felt about the members of congress who sing Zelensky’s praises.

In Gabbard’s own words, these congressmen cheer Zelensky without question because they are “controlled by the war machine.”

She continued by criticizing Congress for praising him while also claiming that they “have no idea where our taxpayer dollars are going.”

Gabbard slammed the Biden administration for holding up Zelensky’s Ukraine as a beacon of democracy that American taxpayers should hand over billions to protect.

“It’s no surprise that we see the political and power elites so easily and willing to undermine our own democracy, undermine our own freedoms, abusing their power to achieve their own political interest, because they look to Zelensky’s democracy and they see a reflection and opportunity for themselves.”

She went on to suggest that there was a “pure dereliction of duty on so many members of Congress from both parties,” accusing them of being “so hooked into and controlled by the war machine in Washington and the military industrial complex that they will sit there … clapping and cheering on this guy … and have no idea where our taxpayer dollars are going.”

Tucker himself also hasn’t held anything back as far as it pertains to Zelensky.
