CNN needs to be investigated ASAP!

In federal court Monday, a former CNN producer pleaded guilty using interstate commerce to lure and force a 9-year-old child to participate in sexual behavior at his Vermont vacation home.

The two additional counts of enticing of a minor against John Griffin, 45, of Connecticut, will be dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

The plea agreement states Griffin met a lady online in the summer of 2020 and convinced her to take her 9-year-old daughter to his ski house in Ludlow, Vermont, for illicit sex.

Griffin arranged for the girl and the mother to fly from Nevada to Boston, picked them up, and then took them to his Vermont house, where the child said Griffin had sexually assaulted her.

Fox News shared these details:

John Griffin, a former senior producer for CNN who was accused of child sex crimes, pleaded guilty in federal court after being charged a year ago, according to the Associated Press.

The federal government dropped two of the three charges against Griffin as part of the agreement. According to the AP, he “must pay full restitution to the victims, an amount which will be determined by the court” and “has agreed to forfeit a Tesla vehicle, and electronic items and to donate half of the proceeds from the sale of his Vermont home and the upcoming sale of a Mercedes vehicle into the court registry.”Griffin, 45, faces a minium of 10 years to life in prison and a fine up to $250,000. His sentencing is scheduled for March 2023.

A federal indictment accused the Stamford, Connecticut, resident of coercing parents to allow their minor daughters as young as seven years old to engage in sexual activity in his Vermont ski home.

The Associated Press got the scoop too:

A former CNN television producer pleaded guilty Monday in federal court to using interstate commerce to entice and coerce a 9-year-old girl to engage in sexual activity at his Vermont ski house.

As part of the plea deal, the government will drop the two remaining counts of enticement of a minor against John Griffin, 45, of Stamford, Connecticut.

According to the plea deal, Griffin met a woman on a website during the summer of 2020 and persuaded the woman to bring her 9-year-old daughter to his Ludlow, Vermont, ski home for illegal sexual activity.

Griffin paid the woman and girl to fly from Nevada to Boston, picked them up and drove them to his Vermont home where the girl said Griffin sexually assaulted her, court records say.

Griffin was arrested on Dec. 10, 2021, a day after he was indicted by a grand jury. He originally pleaded not guilty to three counts.
