The Bible Provides The Remedy We Need Right Now?

If you’re looking for an answer to the problems in our world, chances are the answer is in the Bible.

I know, shocking right?

Who would have guessed?

It’s all in there and I guess our Creator knew better than we did how to handle things.

Wondering what the answer is to stop all the lying, all the deceitfulness, all the TREASONOUS behaviour in our country?

Well, Deuteronomy gives the answer.

You might not like it, but it’s in there.

16 If a malicious witness takes the stand to accuse someone of a crime, 17 the two people involved in the dispute must stand in the presence of the Lord before the priests and the judges who are in office at the time. 18 The judges must make a thorough investigation, and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against a fellow Israelite, 19 then do to the false witness as that witness intended to do to the other party. You must purge the evil from among you. 20 The rest of the people will hear of this and be afraid, and never again will such an evil thing be done among you. 21 Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

Really hits it head on, doesn’t it?

So true!

Why do politicians continue to lie, cheat and steal?

Because they get away with it every time!

Everything they accuse Trump of doing, they themselves are actually guilty of!

It’s the story of Haman and the gallows playing out all over again in our world.

Do you know that story?

Here’s the short story…

Haman was evil.

He plotted to get the Israelites killed.

But his plan backfired and what he planned for evil against the Israelites actually boomeranged on him.

From Ester 7:

Esther Pleads for Her People
1So the king and Haman went to dine with Esther the queen, 2and as they drank their wine on that second day, the king asked once more, “Queen Esther, what is your petition? It will be given to you. What is your request? Even up to half the kingdom, it will be fulfilled.”

3Queen Esther replied, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, grant me my life as my petition, and the lives of my people as my request. 4For my people and I have been sold out to destruction, death, and annihilation. If we had merely been sold as menservants and maidservants, I would have remained silent, because no such distress would justify burdening the king.”

5Then King Xerxes spoke up and asked Queen Esther, “Who is this, and where is the one who would devisea such a scheme?”

6Esther replied, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked man—Haman!”

And Haman stood in terror before the king and queen.

7In his fury, the king arose from drinking his wine and went to the palace garden, while Haman stayed behind to beg Queen Esther for his life, for he realized that the king was planning a terrible fate for him.

8Just as the king returned from the palace garden to the banquet hall, Haman was falling on the couch where Esther was reclining. The king exclaimed, “Would he actually assault the queen while I am in the palace?”

As soon as the words had left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.

9Then Harbonah, one of the eunuchs attending the king, said: “There is a gallows fifty cubits highb at Haman’s house. He had it built for Mordecai, who gave the report that saved the king.”

“Hang him on it!” declared the king.

10So they hanged Haman on the gallows he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the fury of the king subsided.

Are we about to see that play out again in our time?

In our country?

I don’t know.

But all I know is everything they have accused Trump of doing for the last 7 years is exactly what THEY have been doing all along.

So is the penalty prescribed in Deuteronomy fitting?

If you bear false witness against someone and get busted, should YOU bear the penalty you sought to enforce?

Seems fair to me.

And I have to say I think God is pretty wise.

He wrote this after all, do I have that correct?

Earlier today I asked a very simple question:

Now I believe the legal answer is death by public hanging.  I think.  Not 100% sure on that.

But it’s not an SAT question….it’s designed to ask what YOU think the fair and proper penalty should be.

Let me first say this….I believe in the coming weeks and months this will move from an interesting question to ponder to a very REAL question that every American will have to ask themselves as the details of the treason are uncovered.

And yes, we call it what it is around here: it’s not “election fraud”…..it’s TREASON.
